any name brand should be good.

I have Owner, trokar, Gamakatsu, VMC, Eagle Claw, and daiichi, mustad, and decoy.

I have not ben disappointed by any of them.  (the decoy hooks are new to me as they were on sale at TW)

Trokar, Gamakatsu and Owner are my favorites, but anything will do in a pinch or financial bind.

if trokars weren't so expensive that's all i would fish.  owners are nice, but again expensive.  gamakatsu is a nice medium price, but good quality hook.  on a budget, vmc are good for me.

Mustad , Owner,& Decoy, some Trokar.

Also not a hook?<But i really like Owners CPS,in different sizes.Buy in bigger packs at TW, much cheaper.

I've switched over to Trokars for just about everything. I still use the VMC Spin Shots for drop shotting, but now with the release of the helix drop shot hook I'll probably be switching that over as well.

Owner for twist locks and weighted hooks.

Gammy for all others

VMC for single hooks. I really like the "bang for the buck" aspect of there "Ike approved" lineup. I switched to these from Gamakatsu, and on top of saving a few $'s I have not had any issues with them. I also really like the spin and power shot  dropshot hooks.

Mustad KVD Elite 2x short, 1x strong for trebles. I replace every stock hook on every hard bait with these.

Gamakatsu for fresh water, Mustad for Salt water. Owner and VMC make nice hooks as well.
