Trying to decide on which would be best for a rigs and big plugs. There are big stripers in the water I fish that make long runs. (20 - 30 lbs+) I'm a little concerned about the anti reverse also. Any insight would be helpful.

I would honestly check out the Okuma Komodo 300 or the Lexa 300, either one will have more than enough drag and line capacity. Ive personally used the Lexa and its a great reel although come spring I will be purchasing the Komodo for stripers down here. Just my .02

I do like both of those the komodo looks (by its specs) amazing. My only reservation is the weight. It reads like quality for sure. I was kind of trying to have the option of using it for smaller bass lures also in a pinch. Rig it on a bps cranking stick 7'6 mh

Yea they are a lil on the bigger side. I haven't personally used either reel you mentioned although from the specs the Winch, for its weight and drag settings, looks to be the ticket for sure.

I use a Revo Toro Winch NaCl for big ol toothy Muskie. I'd def opt for the BB2 over the BB1, and if they make long runs like you said, get the wide spool.

I've also heard from several people, who service reels, and a certain someone at a reel company in Missouri, that the part are "very similar".
