Super User HoosierHawgs Posted January 5, 2015 Super User Posted January 5, 2015 Trilene XL and Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon XL . If I'm not using XL mono, then I'm using Stren Original. I've branched out and tried others like Suffix mono, and did not like it as much. Plus as a bonus Stren is made in the good ol US of A! Not so sure about where Trilene is made.... Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 5, 2015 Global Moderator Posted January 5, 2015 Favorite mono is Berkley Big Game. Fluorocarbon I mostly use Sunline Super Fluoro. 1 Quote

Super User Raul Posted January 5, 2015 Super User Posted January 5, 2015 My favorite monofilament nylon is Berkley Big Game My favorite monifilament hybrid is YoZuri Hybrid My favorite monofilament hybridwhen I need something almost indestructible is P-line CXX, macho line for us macho anglers My favorite monofilament FC is Seaguar Carbon Pro ( still got a bunch of spools left of it ) I don´t know if that answers your question about which monofilament lines I prefer, because monofilamnet is not synonimous of nylon. 2 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Thus far, I'm no longer using a "mono" line. All my reels are spooled with braid mainline and I use a leader of (typically) copoly, which most of the time lately is Yo-Zuri Hybrid from 6-10lb test. For fluoro I use XPS in 8, 10, 12 lb tests but not that often. Would love to try some Tatsu, Sniper FC at some point, but money has me where I am now. It's all good. Quote
