I'm looking to update/upgrade some of my reels in the next few days. I would prefer to buy new and can get the curado 200i for 145 each. My question is how are they frame wise? I've read that they almost feel like the curado/chronarch 50E for how well I can palm them. I would really like those reels but for the price they cost used I could get the new curado brand new. I also have a chronarch ci4 that I like do they palm similarly?

They both palm great. The new Chronarch palms more like a 50E but the Curado I palms great as well, and is smaller in frame than the 200E series. At least they feel that way to me.

Not quite as cozy as the 50/51 frames, but very, very close. I do not use the Ci4+ so I do not know at all there.

I compared a core 50 with the curado l and they are almost identical in frame size. I'm sure you will be able to palm it easily.

Ya know, I have too.

I set the dail on 2 and put 2 brakes on when I first got it and haven't needed to even think about adjusting either.

Why don't you start with one and if you like it order more? Lol

To me, the I palms better than the E's.  Not quite as well as the CI4 but pretty close.  The I is quickly becoming my favorite Curado.  A 50 size would be killer.

Agreed

i have a citica e, curado e, ch ci4, ch 51e, and a curado i

The curado i palms very very nice. Not quite as comfy of the 51e but very close. He ci4 and the curado i feel almost the same in my hand...but i think i like the 51e the best

As for price rhe curado i is the best bang for the buck in shimanos line up

Finally found a local dealer that let me handle them so I for sure will be buying them. The question now is to buy 3 or buy 2 and put hawg handles on them.

A hawg handle doesn't catch fish, buy 3 reels. You can always buy handles later.
