basscatcher8 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 hey BigM i was just curious do you use photoshop at all to help plan out your paintjobs? or do you kind of paint as you go? Quote
BIG M Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks for all the nice words. I paint on the fly and off the cuff most of the time. I can usually match a color that some wants if I have a bait to look at. Quote
balsadestroyer Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Where do you find your fabric that you use when spraying scales? Quote
basscatcher8 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 I found some at walmart just cant remember what they called it. Quote
BIG M Posted November 29, 2007 Author Posted November 29, 2007 go to the fabric dept at wal-mart and ask for netting. Get some of those cheap wood hoops in the same dept and you are set. Quote
Jake. Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Great looking baits! The paint jobs look amazing. Quote
basspro48 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 wow man you got some kind of talent, awesome work!!! Quote
Super User Munkin Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 You made me get out my crankbait making stuff to give it another shot! I have a couple dbait cranks I am working on right now but man do I need to figure out how to airbrush. :-[ Allen Quote
BIG M Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 Bassin, all the baits are made from balsa wood. Allen, get a piece of water pipe to practice on, it will help you with the fading from back to shoulders and layering the paint. Your baits are mostly done, I've the craw details and clear coat on 1 bait left to finish. Quote
Stringjam Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Awesome as usual.....I think I see one that might be headed my way Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 I think I noticed a Sexy Shad type color in there, lol. First pic, top right. Amazing job though, wish I had talent like that. Quote
