dmack Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I am looking at putting together my own bass jigs (football, swim, etc.). Not sure I want to buy molds and totally start from scratch. I used to pour and paint jigs back when I fished mainly for walleyes. I'm still sitting on hooks and molds from those days. I wondered if anybody has a source of unpainted bass jigs with weedguards. I can paint and I want to mess around with skirts. Need something to keep me busy until we get open water again. Quote
Super User Angry John Posted January 3, 2015 Super User Posted January 3, 2015 contact serbert. He has exactly what you want a good prices. I love his jig head designs and spend lots of cash there Quote
papajoe222 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Welcome to the board. There are a number of lure making suppliers that have what you're looking for, along with a small assortment available at BPS and Cabela's. Luck-E-Strike makes a couple of bare/unpainted ones with a single wire weed guard and if you're looking for hand poured jigs with the typical fiber weed guard, I'm sure Mike at Siebert Outdoors can hook you up with whatever style head design you're looking for. Siebert Outdoors Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I was getting several requests for unpainted jig heads as of late. To help out all the guys that want to build a custom jig but do not want to mess with the lead I added unpainted jig heads up on my site. Every jighead I make can be bought raw and for your customization. 4 Quote
