I was throwing a rage craw weightless on a ML/XF rod and 10lb braid buzzing it across the water when this guy slammed it! Super fun on light line, don't ask me how he didn't slice through that tiny braid....

not half bad. I think it might be a pike to, dosen't have the defined chain pattern of a pickerel.

Did you catch it on your drop shot rig?

How's braid on that spinning reel working for ya?

I'm 99% sure there aren't any pike in the place I was fishing but who knows... And ya its my dropshot setup, I'm loving the braid on it!! Lol if it is a pike then its a small one! But I'm pretty sure its a chain pickerel...

Went and waded out in the swampy place near our house fishing for bowfin after I got back with the same setup and caught two nice bowfin on a 1/16th jig and a grub! Too fun!
