For years I've fished fluorocarbon but the most expensive kind I use is seaguar red label and I've been getting more and more serious About fishing and I was wondering are the expensive fluorocarbons like sunline sniper and shooter worth the money or are you better off buying two spools of seaguar for the same price

For what purpose? I like it for dropshot but p line 100% works for me just as good. If the cheaper option is working what is the benifit of spending more.

Depending on technique it is. I throw Seaguar Red Label for all of my moving baits besides swimbaits. When it comes to bottom contact baits like jigs and t-rigs I throw Sunline Sniper FC. I find it more sensitive and has way better abrasion resistance than the lower priced fluoros on the market.

Shooter is worth the money for bottom contact/sensitivity.

Sniper is a steal at it's price for a compromise of an all around line.

I throw seagar red label on most of my rods. I treat it with kvd line and lure. It fishes great in my opinion. If it were me I'd stick with seagar. Nothing against the others just have had nothing but good with it. I use it on everything but swim baits and my spinning finesse rigs. For swim baits I use monofilament. Trilene big game to be exact. It's hard to beat that stuff mono. ( I do still use flouro when fishing swim airs deep). On my go order rigs I use braided with a flouro leader.

I have never used Red Label so I cant comment on it. I have fished Invisix, Abrisix, and Tatsu. For bottom contact apps I would rate them in the order listed. I have used Sniper and Shooter and they are great lines. The difference between the two lies in the amount of stretch and abrasion resistance, which in this case favors shooter. Is Shooter 2x as good as say Invisix, Abrisix, or Sniper? Not to me but there is a difference in feel while fishing baits like jigs.

This past season I moved to Tatsu and Sniper exclusively for my flourocarbon needs after doing my own testing of flourocarbon lines the past two years. I am very pleased with both but would consider adding Shooter again at some point on my bigger jig setups.
