Good Morning NE'sters. I just purchased the 4th new rod and reel combo since taking the boat of the lake late October (start of my hunting season). Also, several trips to BPS and orders online added somewhere around 20 new jigs, 20 new crank baits, and approximately 40 new bags of soft plastics. Just wondering if everyone else is already going stir crazy like me already, as it usually takes me till February to start buying in bulk. If so what are you buying.

I made a rather sizable TW Black Friday haul - even by my standards.

But in an effort to ward off that nasty little primate, I deliberately did not unpack or open any of this load.

My plan is to slowly open a few things a month to hopefully make this New stuff last the entire winter.

We'll see how it goes, so far so good.

I got 60 bags of Netbait plastics and 40 packages of Jewel "J" tail grubs in the 5" size. I am ready for Spring and patiently waiting.

I took the boat out of the water at the end of November and have since received three orders from Outlet Bait and Tackle and two from Tackle Warehouse, including the shipment that arrived today containing my new Daiwa PXL-R.   (That thing is NICE!)   :eyebrows:

I don't know how my bank account will make it through the winter at this rate.  Maybe I'll try A-Jay's trick....

Tight lines,

Bob

i'm only 13 so I don't have a lot of money in the first place and I always seem so say I wont buy anything for a while and next thing I know I'm broke. the bait monkey really has control of me

I did what A-Jay did.  Put all my new baits in one box and periodically open a couple up and get them situated in the tackle bag.

It has been an expensive winter though for tackle, new trolling motor, and rod/reel combos.
