I'm thinking about switching all of my reels to straight braid. Spinning reels between 15-20 lb power pro slick braid and baitcasters between 30-50 lb power pro slick braid. I fish all types of water and structure, clear, dense cover, sparse cover, murky, deep, shallow, you name it I fish it. Just want an opinion on whether I should completely switch over to braid, as well as if I should use fluoro/mono leaders, depending on the technique that I am using. I mainly throw dropshots, crankbaits, buzzbaits, frogs, jerkbaits, basically everything in the book. Any info/personal experience would be much appreciated! Thanks guys.

NEVER FULLY switch to something you have  no long term experience with.  Do it 1 at a time..

I used a rod this year mainly for buzzbait fishing, with 50 lb braid. That thing kicked ass. But that's topwater, and i'm hesitant to use braid on subsurface baits.

This isn't meant to be rude.

Your same question is asked at least 2 times a week. This topic has been beat to death and discussed at nausea.

use the search function and you'll find more info on braid and/or leaders than you can get in 1 topic.
