ColdSVT Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I am to the point where i need a much bigger terminal box for the ton of hooks and weights the bait monkey has brought me. It will need to hold ewg and dropshot hooks, bullets, droshot weights, and assorted other terminal sundries Im thinkin a thin plano 3600 or similar. And pics or serioulsy welcome! Tks Quote
curtis9 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Plano makes a terminal tackle box. It's between a 3600 and 3700 size. It has compartments for different size hooks and weights Quote
ColdSVT Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Do ya have a specific name or serial for it? That way i can have my local guy order me one Is it the falcon fto terminal? Quote
curtis9 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I don't know the model. I think it's called the terminal tackle organizer. Quote
smallieking Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 bass mafia coffin 3700 is great to store terminal tackle and is the most durable box i own 1 Quote
timsford Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I use the slim 3600 box in my bank fishing backpack and it works great for me. Plenty of room for everything i need and gives me room to stuff another 3700 box full of lures in my backpack Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted December 28, 2014 Super User Posted December 28, 2014 I use the Flambeau Z-rust 3700 size box. The Z-rust works, I rarely get a rusty hook. It's full to the brim, any more terminal tackle selection and I would need to go to another box. 1 Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I use a falcon fto box for terminal tackle Quote
papajoe222 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I use two 3600 series, one for hooks and another for split rings, swivels, hitch hikers, snaps, beads, etc. I keep my weights in a different box. There is double box (flip sided) that is slightly smaller than a 3600 that could fit the bill for you. I think it's made by Flambeau's Quote
bassh8er Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I use a falcon fto box for terminal tackle Seconded. Quote
crankbank Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I just ordered the Flambeau 4150FB Terminal Tackle file. Hoping to use it for a few other things besides terminal stuff... spinnerbaits and swimbaits. Quote
Jon G Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I use the Flambeau Z-rust 3700 size box. The Z-rust works, I rarely get a rusty hook. Also for me at least i found the 3600 size boxes a little too small but i do have a lot of terminal tackle. Quote
Super User Angry John Posted December 29, 2014 Super User Posted December 29, 2014 The bass maffia boxes are the best but costly. They are worth it to me for terminal tackle and jigs. I had a 3701 for a while from plano that was decent Quote
Super User gulfcaptain Posted December 29, 2014 Super User Posted December 29, 2014 Have a lot of terminal tackle too. But carrying it in a 3600 or 3700 box is a big box. Have 3 smaller BPS boxes that have 5 small slots. Hooks go in a worm binder in the small bags. Box for dropshot, box for weights (both lead and tungsten), and a box for misc loose crap (worm rattles, weighted swimbait hooks that are loose, blades and swivels (mj rigging)....etc. Much easer to store those smaller boxes when you have limited amount of space for 3600 and 3700 boxes when you can only take one tackle bag. Super User Felix77 Posted December 29, 2014 Super User Posted December 29, 2014 I use the 3701's for my terminal tackle. Same size as the 3700 in length and width but narrower. I was able to fit two of these in place of one traditional 3700 in my bag. Quote
Alpha Male Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 You want a Plano 3771. Trust me. It's a life saver. 1 Quote
Preytorien Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 You want a Plano 3771. Trust me. It's a life saver. I've got this.....I think another guy mentioned it earlier, these are the ones that have micro-adjustable compartments, even dividers that can go in at angles. They're called the Plano Custom Divider Quote
Blues19 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I keep all my hooks, weights, swivles, clips, stuff like that in a 3700 Plano, and all of my jig heads/shakey head in a 3600. Its worked for me thus far. Quote
