blackmax135 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I got 100 bucks in bass pro gift cards. I don't know what the heck to get. I want to get some stuff for my boat then there are so many other things I could get that I could fish with. What's some things you guys would buy for your bass boat or something useful for fishing that's a must have. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted December 27, 2014 Super User Posted December 27, 2014 A lure retriever... I lost mine somehow, didn't notice until today, guess I need to buy a new one haha Quote

RSM789 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 What do you use to find a lost lure retriever? A lure retriever retriever?? 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 27, 2014 Super User Posted December 27, 2014 I would hold off until the BPS winter sale and then you can get more tackle with your card. As to what to get? I don't need anything. Absolutely nothing. And I have no idea what you really need. So I can't help you. But don't let that stop you. The Bait Monkey awaits you so don't disappointment him. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted December 27, 2014 Super User Posted December 27, 2014 I'd get a bunch of soft plastics. Quote
speed craw Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Terminal tackle , probably the most over looked item . Do your re search on new hooks , sinkers etc . Mojo rig weights , tungsten hooks , new drop shot hooks , etc . Quote
blackmax135 Posted December 27, 2014 Author Posted December 27, 2014 I'd get a bunch of soft plastics. I have to many soft plastics already. I have 3 binders full of plastics. But I guarantee when I get in that store I'm going to look at something and say I don't have that one and will never use it. lol Quote
blackmax135 Posted December 27, 2014 Author Posted December 27, 2014 How about one of the life vest that inflate when it gets submerged. Would that be a good investment? 1 Quote
BassnChris Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 How about one of the life vest that inflate when it gets submerged. Would that be a good investment? IMHO......Absolutely! If you don't already have one.........that's a great idea. I wear mine 100% of the time with the exception of when we beach in a cove while having lunch.....otherwise we all wear ours all of the time. 1 Quote

blackmax135 Posted December 29, 2014 Author Posted December 29, 2014 IMHO = in my humble opinion. ;-) I'm going to have to use that one. lol Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted December 29, 2014 Super User Posted December 29, 2014 The inflatable vests are great! They are more comfortable which allows you to actually wear them all the time instead of just being in the boat. Make sure you check your state relations though as some states only count it as a vest if it's being worn. If it's laying on the deck it's not and you have to have a foam vest somewhere in the boat for each passenger. It makes no sense at all but some states are like that and Wisconsin is one of them.
