Anyone know if and where I can get some lure blanks (no paint) so that I dont have to sand off the original paint of the ones I buy in the store? I am looking for rogues, wiggle warts, or square bills of almost any kind. Thanks.

Jann's is the best bet.  Lots of name brand copies to choose from, be careful what you use for a clear coat.  If the baits are a suspending lure an epoxy will likely to cause it to sink.

What would you suggest instead of the devcon for suspending jerkbaits so that they suspend better?

Thin the Devcon with denatured alcohol.

bassman, you can also use polyurathane in the spray can (ultra clear) and give the baits about 4 coats.  That will give you baits pretty good protection.  That is what I use, I've never messed with the thinned epoxy.

I use forceps to hold my baits while painting.

Hey Gang, where do you get those clamps to hold the blanks.

Steve

I usually just end up painting my fingers. :-[
