rchiuz Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good lure retriever when your fishing from the bank. Thanks in advance! Quote
Super User Darren. Posted December 25, 2014 Super User Posted December 25, 2014 Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good lure retriever when your fishing from the bank. Thanks in advance! I have this one from Bass Pro: http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-EZ-Lure-Retriever/product/44428/ I used it a few times. It is pretty heavy for long distance retrieval, but it does work. And depending on the situation, you may use language not suitable for all audiences. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted December 25, 2014 Super User Posted December 25, 2014 I'm interested in what ya'll share; I don't do anything in that regard but I oughta start. Quote
BigMoneyGrip Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Yeah, 65lbs braid. If you hang something, you can either drag it in or straighten the hooks. It saved me many times! Quote
fisherrw Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I really need to buy one of those... To many lost strike kings and spros!!!! Quote

Thanks in advance! I just picked up one of these. I haven't used mine yet - the quality of the machining and design is exceptional. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 25, 2014 Global Moderator Posted December 25, 2014 I use a telescoping lure retriever from Frabill. If I can reach it, I can almost always get it back. Quote

Super User Fishes in trees Posted December 26, 2014 Super User Posted December 26, 2014 I think that the telescoping poles are probably best for bank fishing purposes. A certain number of snags you aren't going to get back no matter what kind of lure retriever you've got. Quote
