Does anyone know the name of this canal or where you would be able to launch a boat from. As far as I know c14 ends there and there is no way to get through.

You can get in that canal at two concrete ramps at Markem Park west of the 75, Sawgrass, intersection along 84..  The ramps can be very slippy so watch getting your vehicle tires wet unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.  You can run north for a few miles before it is blocked.  In the middle of the wide lake area there is a shallow spot.  Watch running in the middle, but it is a good crankbait area.  If the wind is howling out of the west the high levee does a good job of blocking it.  Good luck, sometimes jet skiers are a problem.

Ive caught some nice peacocks out of there but never anything special LM wise.  I believe you can also manage to get your boat back in some of the local canals in Sunrise that way as well.  I live off of one of them now and remember running them with my dad when I was a kid.
