Super User Lund Explorer Posted December 22, 2014 Super User Posted December 22, 2014 I'd like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas as well. And let's all take time to think of those who have to spend part or all of their holiday away from home. We have soldiers and sailors spread across this entire world and nothing can match the loneliness of being so far from loved ones. We also have many in this country that will be spending much of this glorious day doing their duty as well. From the public safety folks, those staffing our medical facilities, to those working the more mundane job at the local gas station or convenience store. Finally let's take time to recognize those that have lost loved ones during the year. Three LEO's have died in the line of duty in just the last few days. They add to the many who have passed away while serving all of us during the last year. We must, I repeat MUST, take at least one brief moment to grieve with these families, so that they may know that their loved ones did not die in vain. 5 Quote
