travis23 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 So I lost some parts to a reel I found a month ago. Long story short I lost like 2 screws and maybe a washer? Also maybe a schematic sheet? It's a RH Bantam 200 I think. Sorry if this is in the wrong security. Help would be appreciated. Thanks Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted December 21, 2014 Super User Posted December 21, 2014 Ebay is usually good for this kind of stuff. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 21, 2014 Global Moderator Posted December 21, 2014 Like a 200B Bantam (greenie) or an older one? Quote
travis23 Posted December 21, 2014 Author Posted December 21, 2014 Yeah it's green. It just says 200 on the side. Quote

Or contact DVT and see if he can get the parts for you. Quote
travis23 Posted December 21, 2014 Author Posted December 21, 2014 Youre the man. I found the screw i was missing. It was a drive shaft cover screw. I just need to figure ojt where these extra little screws go. Note: if you break a reel down, put it back together in the same day. Do not leave the parts out for your 1yr old to get ahold of!! Super User Jeff H Posted December 21, 2014 Super User Posted December 21, 2014 I have one for parts you can have if you want it. It is missing the level-wind pawl and cap and I took something else off it too but don't remember what. Might have been the Anti-Reverse sleeve as I had one crack on one of my Castaics. Probably put the cracked one in this reel. Otherwise the rest of it is there. Anybody that wants it can have it. Just PM me. 4 Quote

I wouldn't want to take the whole reel, but I could use a couple things if that's ok? Quote

travis23 Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 What a Trooper! Very generous offer, indeed.. I agree! You dont get that often these days. Everyone is always trying to make a CENT, literally. Thats why i would feel bad with the whole reel, when i only need a couple parts from it. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted December 23, 2014 Super User Posted December 23, 2014 I'd just prefer you have the whole thing, I have no use for it at all anymore as I sold all my Bantam Curado's last spring. Never know, you may need something else from it another time and it will be there then. If you really don't want the whole thing I can pull whatever it is you need and send it. Just PM me and let me know. Quote
travis23 Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Yeah thats true. I found this reel in the mud from the drawdown. I have had lots of cleaning and im still not really done yet. How do you want to do this? Just send you my address? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 23, 2014 Super User Posted December 23, 2014 A donor reel is probably the best plan. Good on you Jeff for offering one up. Beats scouring eBay for weeks until a cheap one turns up. 1 Quote
