kingmotorboat Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 This Christmas my wife had all these plans to buy me a *** and daiwa tatula. Then her and her father got in a wreck with an uninsured drunk driver who they will probably never see a dime from. Now we are all livine together and im paying all the bills for him and her because neither can go back to work. Not to mention also im supporting her autistic brother. So i got her a tablet, father a turkey fryer, and me nothing. In s way im bummed cause the bait monkey is punching me. In another way im thrilled cause i can cheer them up. If this is in the wrong forum i apologize. Just wanted to share another Christmas story of another kind that the bait monkey didn't touch haha. Thanks for your ear br. Quote
masterbass Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Sorry to hear about your bad luck bro. I'm glad to hear it wasn't a fatal accident. Stay strong and things will get better for sure. Quote
kingmotorboat Posted December 21, 2014 Author Posted December 21, 2014 Yea i know it will buddy. But amongst all the threads about deals and and Christmas gifts. Figured i would make a thread about more giving than receiving. Im not knocking anyone here but this kinda stuff makes me feel good. Quote

Super User new2BC4bass Posted December 21, 2014 Super User Posted December 21, 2014 Fishing is a hobby. Family is everything. Merry Christmas to you and your family. X2. Coworker just lost her mother Monday. Mother lived with her and husband since coming over from Poland a few years ago. Less than 2 months ago my daughter's neighbor lost her second child...both from car accidents...neither were driving. The first her only son (a senior at the time), the second her oldest girl who also has a 3 year old little girl. Shortly after the son was killed her husband passed away from cancer that he had been fighting for some time. As much as we all like new toys, they pale in comparison to family. You are also correct that it feels better to give than to receive. I am sorry to hear of your situation. Hopefully next year will be a better one for you. Merry Christmas. Quote

Super User Sam Posted December 22, 2014 Super User Posted December 22, 2014 You have medical payments and Uninsured/Underinsured motorist coverage on your personal auto policy. Please look into those coverages for any monetary relief payable. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you and your family. Quote
