Seems like Xcalibur so far has the smallest heavy crankbait I have found. 2" @ 1/2oz

Trying to avoid spinning gear to use my current setup. Any other brand out there make a heavier small crankbait, Thanks!

The Square A that Catch and Grease mentioned is 2" but it is a small profile for a 3/8oz bait, in fact if you compare it to the Xcalibur XCS, it looks like it is maybe 1/4oz and it is a fish catcher. That to me is the smallest, heavy square bill.

Lucky Craft "Skeet Reese" SKT Mini MR - $9.99 to $10.99

A tiny 2" @ 3/8 oz .. Smaller and lighter are easier to get, I throw the really light ones on spinning.

Give both the Norman Fat Boy and Bomber Square A a try.

It would be tough to get heavier than a baby supernato when you fill it with water...  Just do yourself a favor and put a stinger hook on it.  Without them, the hooksets can be sporadic.

Are you actually having problems throwing the XCS with a baitcaster? The XCS100's my favorite squarebill and I have no problem throwing that even in gusty winds so even though it may not be super "heavy" it casts just fine.

Academy has some tiny squarebills, but not very heavy

What rod are using? That may be the culprit if casting is a problem.

This and the fact that you should also downsize the line you'll be using.  The only downside that you need to address is whether or not to contunue using baitcasting gear or switch to spinning gear.  Either way, it looks as though you'll be purchasing one or the other.  I throw FatBoys and  some crappie cranks with a baitcaster. I give up distance and deal with backlashes in order to do so, but it can be done.

havnt really tried to throw any yet, i can chunk a Shad Rap size 7 pretty comfortably on my baitcaster. I just wondered it there was a little squarebill or a shallow diver that was small and had some extra weight to it, if there was such a thing out there I didnt want to overlook a brand.
