None of the above. If it doesn't fit in one of my pockets, I don't need it to catch fish.

I put a couple things in my pockets and go. Bank trips are usually short so I don't have time to change baits a bunch anyways.

What they said ^^^  I make a lot of trips throughout the year where I just don't feel like, or have the time to, take the boat. When I do, I pretty much tie one bait on and throw a few others in an old lure box along with a pair of snips, and put it all in my pocket and go. Only one rod and reel, too. For me, bank fishing is all about ease of mobility. Any more tackle than the above hinders that.

Bag...Although I hate it. Abu garcia veritas bag. 4 3700s. Wears on your shoulders after a while. It can also throw your balance off. Nice for taking onto bass boat though.

Want a backpack but they are expensive...the backpack I own is too worn out to use.

I use the Camelbak BFM, biggest bag they make, you can fit just about any combo of boxes, bags, binders, etc. that you could possibly want.  the only downside with all that space is that, if you're like me, you want to fill it. So you end up taking too much, but its nice know that you have the space if you need it.

Depends on where I am and what I want to do.

I keep all of my tackle in 3600's and 3700's in my car. If I am going to walk down a bank away from my car I have a few options:

1. Just stick to one bait (almost never do this haha)

2. Bring a few baits with.

If I am using a T-rig or a jig or plastics, I will just throw a few plastics of a few different colors and styles into one bag (like the ones that the baits come in) and I will carry that around in my back pocket.

If I am using a hardbait, I am using a snap and I can change them quickly, I will put some baits in one of these - (they can hold a 4 inch jerkbait / multiple cranks, spinerbaits, you name it. And they will fit in a jacket pocket.

3. If I want to take a longer walk and I am not sure on what will work, or I want to try multiple things I sometimes take this because it can hold a bit of tackle and it isn't in the way.

If they made a bag styled backpack I would be happy. Too bad they don't.

If I could replaced my backpack, it would be with either the Abu Garcia Veritas backpack or the Tackle Warehouse backpack. I can't stand tackle boxes, backpacks are so much easier for moving around.

I use a Spiderwire backpack when fishing from shore or my kayak.  It holds 4 boxes, a towel or rain coat, all my soft baits, and 2 rods.  It's very well build and has held up great for two seasons.  I got it at Dicks. Overall, A++.

I just use some old messenger style bag, that I don't care about getting it dirty.

I use a school backpack with 2 side pockets. 2 3700's and one slim 3600 in the main compartment. Tools.in the front compartment. And soft plastics in the 2 side.compartments

I always have my backpack when bank fishing. Keeps all of the tackle and tools you need and its small and very portable

Here is the Spiderwire backpack some of us use plus me included. Just showing what it holds. It comes with three tackle trays. I put plastics, and leader in the top portion that's zipped up, and put my attractants, bugspray little first aid kit in the side pockets. It also comes with a pliers holder which you can remove and hang on your belt. I leave it on the bag and have my side cutters and ring pliers in it. I have a sheath with needle nose, hemo stat, and shears in it which I carry on my belt.

Man, you bring a lot more stuffs than I do. I usually stick to one technique that I want to fish with, working or not.

If I am walking the bank I will take a backpack. I normally throw hard baits/frogs/terminal tackle in a 3700 Plano and stick it in the backpack, then put a gallon size ziplock with plastics in it. It also leaves room for pliers and a bottle of water and maybe an extra shirt if its cold, or some extra stuff.  Its just more comfortable to walk around with a backpack. And you can fish with it on if you just want to hit a certain spot real quick, before moving on

I do, I go to more than one body of water during a fishing outing. Ill use different techniques for different spots . Sometimes Ill just grab a couple of things, and leave the bag in my vehicle. I will be downsizing by the time spring gets here. I'm still figuring out what works best when and where, and getting rid of stuff I don't even use like that giant swim bait for example. Probaply get rid of some of those shad colored baits also because there aren't any shad where I fish. So this will be temporary.

I use a tactical vest with full web-gear, and storm the bank with my high capacity baitcaster, in a full out amphibious assault.

I use a military medic bag I took when I got out of the Army.  I'm also thinking of using an older alice pack without the frame for more storage in the future when I'm fishing out of my buddies boat.  The medic bags are designed perfectly for me to wade the river and have my stuff slung over one shoulder for quick access and easy grabbing.

None of the aforementioned items.  Bank fishing it's 1 rod and a couple of lures in my pocket or a bag of flukes with a few extra hooks.  Don't need anything else.

I'm thinking of getting one of these cheap fanny/waste packs and try to put some some small cases of fishing tackle in it.  Anybody use something like this?
