The senko FAQ is a great resource. Like someone in that thread mentioned, I like a green like watermelon and a black like black and blue. Those two colors will cover most situations.
DFrench97 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Black and blue fleck and white with any color fleck works great for me on my lake since it is murky, but a watermelon with gold fleck is what I got my pb with on a clear lake.
LittleBob Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 My favorite has to be my motor oil with red flake, I throw that when nothing else is working and always seem to get bit.
Super User ww2farmer Posted December 14, 2014 Super User Posted December 14, 2014 Black and blue, green pumpkin, and watermelon red 1
Weld's Largemouth Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 plum apple and pumpkin w/ black flake thats all you need
Super User Angry John Posted December 15, 2014 Super User Posted December 15, 2014 I like watermelon colors for clear lakes, red working very well in the evening and gold working well during the day for me. I also have blueblack for off colored waters. I vary the size if i do not get bit.
Super User Darren. Posted December 15, 2014 Super User Posted December 15, 2014 I'll say watermelon magic, green pumpkin magic are great, as is a laminate watermelon/orange.
EvanT123 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I throw black 90% of the time unless the water is super clear then a green of some sort. Two summers ago late in August when the bite would get alittle slow I would rotate between a white fluke and black senko. If I couldn't get something on either of those it was time to move on.
