Finally got my Fishmas Tree up last night complete with 108 Heddon Pumpkinseed ornaments and a BBZ-1 swimbait as a tree topper.

You gotta leave the hooks on them. It makes Christmas more enjoyable when the cat tries to climb the tree or that drunk uncle stumbles into it.

I would love a full size pic of that tree!  I would use it as ammo to convince the wife to let me help decorate the tree!!

My brother got me a Major Award a couple of years back for Christmas...I'll be turning it on in a few when it gets dark. I'm ready for Fishmas!

Great idea.

Thanks for sharing.

We have a "tea cup" tree that we put up every few years using part of my wife's tea cup collection as ornaments.

Your idea of using fishing lures for the entire tree is outstanding.

You can use that as an excuse for buying more lures. ("Honey, I'm going to get some ornaments.....")

I can imagine what my wife would say to me after she sees my "fishmas decorations" and it ain´t gonna be pretty !

I have the same thing minus the tree and the "ornaments" take up half my garage.

Do you leave the hooks on them ?

nice tree!

the wife actually surprised me with an actual ornament that looks like a bass with a line in it's mouth!!  i think she got it at Target, but when she came home she was so excited to show me what she found!  moments like these when you know you've got the right one....

now for a fishmas tree next year....
