Good thing about a jig like this you could pick what you want it to be. I'd say skipping to be more specific.

Flippin jig. The Booyah jigs w/eyes would truly be considered swim jigs.. But the flipping style 'arkie' jig is versatile and can be used for a variety of techniques.

While you are technically correct, arkie jigs are versatile, the jigs pictured above aren't arkie's.
