Hi everyone

Just bought (2) Abu Garcia Veritas rods off eBay for $75+$15 shipping.

1-7'6 Medium Heavy Casting Rod
1-7'3 Medium Heavy Casting Rod

Description read:

All eyes and handles in good shape. Great rods, but I have too many.

Any way what do you guys think? Good deal?

Good deal.  They are light, but stiff.  I use my 7'0" MH/F for a frog rod.

Both are what I'd rate as a heavy power and not your typical medium heavy. As mentioned they're stiff. The 7'6 would be my flippin stick and the 7'3 for heavier jigs and t rigs. Frogs when needed.

I hope you like them as well as I like mine.  Like it was said, I would also say that they are more on the heavy side than MH but they are a sweet performing rod in my opinion.  Anywhere you are able to give them a toss in southern IL once you get them?

As for the deal....seems good.  You can get the Veritas rods for around $50 as the Veritas 2.0 has appeared.

Congrats!

Good buy, they normally run 99.99.  I ran that 7'3" as a frog rod for a while, works great.

What mine is most of the time or big spinnerbaits.
