stkbassn Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 In Fisherman, Major League Fishing, The Bass Pro's, Hook and Look, FLW Outdoors...hard to pick just one ! Quote
MemphisFF Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Can't stand the dude. He fishes in stocked ponds/lakes and is way too professional. He like never catches dinks. That's not real fishing. I live in Memphis and see him alot he's from here and I can say that's the opposite what you think of him... He's an approachable guy and doesn't come off too professional and he will take the time to talk with you.. Sorry but I disagree with you. Another great thing he's got going is that Orange T:) Quote

Another great thing he's got going is that Orange T:) X2, I think Bill is a fine ambassador for fishing. He really cares and does a lot to help folks with their fishing. He's just a down to earth, classy guy.It pains me to see him aging but it's nothing any of us can stop. When I met him he couldn't have been nicer. Same goes for Hank and Jimmy..very nice guys and spread a positive message as well. These guys are legends in our time and I'm so glad I can say I've met them and shook their hand. Quote
WarEagleBassin Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Major League Fishing on the Outdoor Channel. I really enjoy that format. Quote
BassmanDan Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I haven't read all of the responses yet but where is One more cast with Shaw? ROFLMAO Anyone else noticed that Timmy Horton is starting to sound a lot like Shaw when fighting a fish? I enjoy MLF, Bassmaster, FLW, Scott Martin Challenge, good ol Bill D., and the Bass Pros to name a few. It's a good thing they are in full swing right now or my wife would have stuck me in temporary housing until I can fish again. Quote
RHuff Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I enjoy Bill Dance even though he does fish at well stocked lakes/ponds. Major League Fishing is probably the most enjoyable "tournament" program in my opinion, keeping in mind it's made for television so there is the possibility it is not a 100% true competition. This is not a bass fishing show but I think one of the classiest fishing programs on TV is Salt Water Experience. So many bass fishing programs seem too focus too much on one lure over others, pushing those lures down the viewers throat or they treat tournament fishermen like they are Elvis or something. I always wondered where BD fishes at. It seems he's always the only one around and everything seems private all the time. I wondered many times if he has his own private pond he's fishing for different episodes. I love the show and will always watch. I like The Bass Dr with Todd Hallowell I think he does a great job. hoosierhawghunter Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 The Bass Pros. And MLF, not the on tv. But the dvds, way more information and details on the dvds. 24.99 for 14 hours of fishing? Completely worth it. Quote
Djf3864 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I like the Bass Pro's, has a lot of good information and not always just a commercial for new lures/gear/etc. I like the Scott Martin Challenge, pretty entertaining with a lot of back and forth with this guests. I will watch anything and if it sucks not watch it again, I think that there is some take away even a small one that can be gleaned from any of the shows out there now. Its more about whether or not you can take the commercial aspect of many of the shows now a days. Quote
aluislugo Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 1. Bass Pros 2. MLF 3. Timmy Horton 4. In Fisherman 5. Extreme angler 6. Linders Angling Edge 7. Hook n Look 8. Bill Dance 9. Bass Doctor 10. Dave Mercer 11. Jarrett Edwards Refuse to watch Zona and Jimmy Houston. Quote
FrogFreak Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Does anybody remember that fishing show with fish fishburne? Quote
BassAddict'18 Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Probably FLW The Show. But I am a bit biased because they sponsor college fishing haha. I enjoy old stuff like Bill Dance though, can't beat an oldie but a goodie. Quote
Nebasska Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Charter Cable in Grand Island Nebraska just took World Fishing Network off their cable here so bye bye Charter........Only channel I watched besides ESPN I love all the Bass Fishing shows but get real sick of all the Fly Fishing and Saltwater Fishing since I am in the middle of no where and am way too poor to go anywhere they do that... Jd_Phillips_Fishin Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Don't watch them I go fishing!!!!!! So you are off the water by 9:30? Quote
ItsallabouttheBass Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 My favorite, and really one I ever knew of, was Charlie Moore Outdoors when I lived in Massachusetts. The guy was awesome! Fisherman first, comedian second! The cool thing about that show was that local celebraties and were on his show fishing with him all the time. Players from the Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots were always on his show and most of them never fished before filming. It was a fun watch! Quote
