Fellas, I'm considering buying a 7mm08. I've heard a lot of good things about this round. I'm already a big fan of the .284 bullets. I reload for my 7mm Mag. I'd appreciate opinions from guys that own and shoot one. Thanks.

I love mine.  I have a Tikka T3 in 7mm-08.  I've taken white tail and feral hogs out to about 250 yds.  I shoot 140 gr Winchester Ballistic Silvertips, I don't reload.  It's a pretty light shooting round and accuracy out of my gun is outstanding, better than I can shoot.

Look at a 280 Remington. Many more loading options for that .284 bullet with a 30-06 case.

I've never heard a complaint from someone that shoots the round. Just seems like an all-around good cartridge, especially where we live.
