Metalbestos Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Took a picture of this small, smallmouth bass this summer and I can't figure out what its doing, a friend said its waiting for food to pass by but the other 50 billion bass in this lake don't do it so I am hard pressed to believe that, let me know what you think. Please note, this is NOT photo shopped Quote

Super User Lund Explorer Posted December 2, 2014 Super User Posted December 2, 2014 Just a SWAG - Don't gobies make holes in the lake bottom that look like that? Quote
wisconsin heat Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Thats awesome, have no idea why it would do that though. Quote
Super User gulfcaptain Posted December 2, 2014 Super User Posted December 2, 2014 Well it's plain to see.....that smallmouth was adopted by gobies. 3 Quote
RSM789 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 That fish is a little shy about defecating in public, so he built his own hidden poop palace. I doubt that he appreciates you posting a picture of him at such a private moment... 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 3, 2014 Global Moderator Posted December 3, 2014 I thought maybe it was being eaten by one of the worms from Tremors. 1 Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted December 4, 2014 Super User Posted December 4, 2014 One thing for sure, it's a male bass. It's mouth isn't open! 1 Quote
