I got two Xcalibur square billed craw crankbaits at dick's yesterday, 3$ each. I got the XCS100 in a firetigerish pattern and an XCS200 in a moss black craw pattern.

my question on another note is does anyone have these or any other Xcalibur brand baits and do you know if it's a good company?

from the looks of these lures and the original price i'd say they seem promising.

use them all the time. theyre silent and have a very nice erratic searching action. i use the chartreuse black black and  red craw colors in the spring and absolutely light up big prespawn bass

Those are my favorite low priced sq bills.  They are good baits with good components.  XCalibur also makes very good lipless crankbaits, jerkbaits and topwater poppers.  Dick's also sells baits from "Excalibur," don't confuse the two as they aren't the same.  The XCalibur is a higher quality bait.

I like their squarebills.

I really like their lipless cranks. Caught a lot on them this fall. They have really good paint as well and held up to a lot of fish without chipping.

Yup. I was fishing them on a MH/F with 50lb braid and they didn't bend at all, good hooks.

Greatest baits I have ever fished. I picked up a bunch of square bills, poppers, jerkbaits, and rattlebaits at $3 a pop at Dicks as well. It's the only thing I've bought form dicks the entire year

I'm always finding xculibur baits for cheap! Bought all the xculibur jerk baits and rattle baits that dicks had last fall for under 3 dollars each. Well worth it!! The poppers are great too. I bought a bunch of the huge sized gaudy blue and chartreuse colored square bills in those bargin boxes at walmart. The smallies absolutely kill those big square bills in my local river!

Not a big fan of the squarebills but their jerkbaits are great and their popper, walking bait (discontinued Jimmy), and rattle bait are all my top 2 or 3 baits in their respective categories. It's not that I don't catch fish on their squarebills, just not anything special for me.

I love the XCS Square bills and I wasn't sure the craw pattern XCS would be any good but I grabbed some when our local Cabelas had them for $2.99 and I got a few 100 series and I can tell you that in the ricver I fish, the creek craw and molting craw patterns have been very effective. The lipless cranks and jerkbaits from Xcalibur are awesome as well, I grabbed a bunch of the EEratic shad jerkbaits when they got discontinued, they had them on clearance at the local Cabelas for $4.88 and I grabbed a dozen, 3 each in 4 different colors, that jerkbait is a bonfide fish catcher and if you can find the Xt3 twitch bait, I suggest you grab them, they have been discontinued for a bit but some still pop up, they are right up there with Lucky Craft and that isn't a joke as I hold LC in very high regard.

The XR 50 One Knockers are the best lipless cranks out there. Dick's had a mid season sale where all Xcalibur baits were 1/2 off and also buy one get one free on top of that. Might have been a store closing the fishing dept but I bought every Xcalibur bait they had. They are good quality baits. You can fish them right out of the box.
