It really boils down to how the reels feel in your hand. I have the Curado 50 & 200 and both the

Core 50Mg and 100Mg. My preference is the 50 series.

They arent the smoothest reels on the planet but my goodness are they solid workhorse reels. Set em and go!

They will perform like new for years if ya take care of em!

I plan to add a 50e to my arsenal this winter

I had Mike at DVT supertune both of my Curados. They now perform on par

with my Core, believe it or not!

Mike tuned my curado as well!...love it!

I had Dan at ReelEx supertune a Curado 50E for me and casted side by side on the same rod, line, and bait with a 50MG7, there was no difference in the casting distance between the supertuned 50E and stock Core 50MG7.

That's because internally they're pretty much identical. The money in the core is for the magnesium frame.
