ChrisWi Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Living on lake Michigan I've landed many salmon over 20 pounds, catfish over 25 pounds, walleye about 29 inches and perch over 13. Pretty lucky to be located where I am! 1 Quote

blackmax135 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 45 pound flathead catfish on lake marion in south Carolina. That was real fun. When I was nine I caught a 26 pounder with my dad dipping him up for me as far as I can remember it took me 30 min to get that one it but I will definatly never forget that one. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted December 2, 2014 Super User Posted December 2, 2014 One of my more memorable catches although not in the same size ranges of some of my marlin or tuna. Caught this cobia on my first visit to Key West in 1975, didn't know I needed salt water gear. I had a bass spinning rod with mono line fishing off a party boat. Weaving my way around 30 some odd other fishermen and having to pull the fish from the opposite side of the boat as it swam underneath, made it one of the toughest fish I ever landed. Won the pool and sold the fish for $2.00 lb to a hotel chef, a pretty good pay day. 1 Quote

Mine looks tiny next to yours This isn't the biggest one I've caught up in Northwest Ontario, but it's close ....and the only one that I have a picture of.....that I can find. Never done any salt water fishing. 2 Quote

Super User Dwight Hottle Posted December 2, 2014 Super User Posted December 2, 2014 No musky? My biggest ski was from 1970's at 50" & 34lbs as I remember. I only have polaroid pics of that one. There are a couple other ski pics in this gallery. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/gallery/album/71-multi-species-favorites/ Quote

OntarioFishingGuy Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 60lb ray on a jig in Cuba. Broke it off once I got a good look at it, because I wasn't in the mood for an hour long fight. Biggest freshwater fish would be a 26lb chinook I caught on 5lb leader while fishing for steelhead. 1 Quote
