I went to Tackle Warehouse put some stuff in my card and proceed to checkout and don't see any sale discount. Has it started yet or am I doing it wrong?

How much will it be for, 15% or 20%?

Haha, TW might not even start their sale tomorrow.  If I remember correctly, they waited until the weekend to start their sale last year.  If you register your email address on their site, you will get emails when they start their sales, that way you always know when one is going on.

It's 20% and starts tomorrow at noon central time.

I heard it was 25% this year, but don't quote me on that. I will be doing most of my bait shopping this year after Christmas, as I am hoping to get a giftcard or a a few lures as stocking stuffers. For now I just look and sigh, trying to pass the winter blues...

Quick question, do you guys know how much TW normally charges for shipping a Rod + Other items?

Like if you order is over 50$ and you get the free ground shipping how much do they charge extra for you ordering a rod?

They don't charge extra for rods....at least I've never had them charge me anything and I've ordered quite a few through them.

If the other portion of your order is small enough, they will stuff it in the rod tube. Otherwise it will just come in a normal box.

Oh really?? That's good to know, I'm gonna be ordering a rod a bunch of other junk probably tomorrow and was wondering if they charged extra for shipping rods because on their site it says something about *rods may have additional shipping fees*

If you're worried about it just call them.

I've ordered rods + items multiple times and I've never been charged shipping. If you get the 5$ 2 day shipping, I believe it costs 5$ per parcel. i.e rod + shipping box would be 10$. They really do their best to stuff whatever they can into that tube though.

How does the tackle warehouse sale work, does it just automatically add it on checkout or do you have to type in a code or something??

There will be a banner on the home page, you can click that and it adds the discount to your cart.
