moby bass Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 What do you guys use to store and carry your spinnerbaits around in. I have the Falcon spinnerbait wallet but I'm not real thrilled with it. The skirts are constantly pinched by a new spinner you put in and when I take out a bait I have to remove several to avoid stretching the skirts. Most plastic boxes either don't have big enough compartments or you have to put 3 or 4 on top of each other, also getting tangled. Any suggestions? Quote
carySE406 Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 Falcon makes a spinnerbait organizer, I have one and my only complaint is how much you have to pinch down big armed spinnerbaits to fit in there. But it is pretty nice. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_54762_100011009_100000000_100011000_100-11-9 Quote
moby bass Posted April 20, 2007 Author Posted April 20, 2007 Looks like a similar design as the wallet. Do your skirts get tangled or pinched? Quote
timmyswetarded Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 you can take a regular plano style box and cut knoches in the dividers...works perfect Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted April 20, 2007 Super User Posted April 20, 2007 Even though i have used SB,s all my life i find a new intrest in them for some reason.W-E the reason im buying a lot more and all i can think for ease of use is a Flambua with the zerust in them the square ones they hold your SB so nice and they prevent rust .So im buying 4 of these and im putting them in a duffle bag suit ti size ill figure that out when i get um i think they would work for ya !! KenDammit28 Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 I don't know how you're toting your stuff, but if you have the space, Spinnerbait boxes are the way to go. No squeezing arms, no pinching skirts, everything is hanging there..easy to remove. I fish a lot of spinnerbaits and this is the only way to go, IMO. Quote
WhiteMike1018 Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 I put all the spinnerbaits I think ill use that day in this box, also fits buzzbaits too. Its pretty convienient! -WhiteMike Quote
moby bass Posted April 20, 2007 Author Posted April 20, 2007 That looks good, WhiteMike. Where did you find that? Quote
KenDammit28 Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 its just a spinnerbait box, a plano one. Its pretty convienient! -WhiteMike I use this and for just a little over $3 you really cant go wrong. Like stated, they hold both spinners and buzz baits. My only complaint is there is no room in my bag for it so I forget it at home WAY to often. Alex Quote

Yup he said it. Just a plano spinnerbait box. Nothing less Quote
telecaster Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 I use the spinner bait wallet.I like em cuz the're compact and I dont have a ton of spinner baits so they work out well.I use the same thing for jigs. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted April 21, 2007 Super User Posted April 21, 2007 I've tried every version of a spinnerbait box I could find, and I've tried making my own. For my money, the Falcon is the best I've used so far. I carry two of them, and none of my other baits are as easy to access as these. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted April 21, 2007 Super User Posted April 21, 2007 Shimano's spinnerbait soft pack works great. It's flat and you can see the lures by turning the "pages". Quote
Shakes Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Falcon Spinnerbait box. The only tackle I carry, I carry in that box. Half for spinnerbaits, the other half for everything else. Its a mess. Quote
Spencer W Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 I think the Falcon spinnerbait and buzzbait box are kind of hassle to use, I know everytime i want to put a spinnerbait away I'm not wanting to hook the arm of the lure to the hook just to put it away, and the buzzbait box is worthless unless you have the same buzzbaits with the same blades.
