I think it's a busted up turkey vulture skull.  What people are assuming are eye sockets are maybe actually sinus cavities?

You look happy but the flamingo looks surprised if not scared.

 

 

The reason it looks scared is because J is ruffling its tail feathers.

Juvenile triceratops, what a shame. Probably killed by poachers because they aren't in season until January.

I have a question about that hunk of bone.  Now that we believe we know what it is, does that make the bass bite better?  Just asking.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing, I was looking in the background of his photo for butterflies with their wings pulled off. JK
