Super User Jrob78 Posted September 26, 2015 Super User Posted September 26, 2015 Gotta let us know how you do with your 3:16, I haven't been able to buy a bite, I'm hoping it starts producing next spring. I didn't have mine until late in the season, so I didn't get to throw it during, what I think, would be "prime time". I definitely will. I haven't fished it yet but I'm excited to. I couldn't ever get a Hardgill in SS so I decided to get a 3:16 instead. Quote
Evan K Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Rare trip to BPS in Springfield today. I guess I went a little overboard with the square bills. Quote

Evan K Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 How do you like the pocket frog? ~Kevin I think I'll like it, haven't tried it yet. I had a regular *** frog that got lost somehow but really liked it. Thought I'd get a small version too since a couple ponds I fish a lot have a lot of smaller bass in them. Quote
wytstang Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Plan on doing some uber early fishing this weekend and wanted a light with plenty of power. I figured a headlamp would be the best choice since I could handle a fish (and un hook it safely) and not worry about droping a light or placing a flashlight in my mouth. I also wanted a powerful light so when I walk up to the bank I can clearly see the ground and watch for snakes or gators at the edge or close by. After plenty of research I found what fit my needs & wants to a tee, enter the Thrunite TH10 Mode & Runtime: Firefly (0.2 lumens, 65 days), Low (11 lumens, 107hours), Medium (172 lumens, 9 hours), High (490 lumens, 178 minutes), Turbo (750 lumens, 118 minutes),SOS(750 lumens, 270 minutes) I pretty much have my own personal sun on my four head 2 Quote
Scarborough817 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Excellent choices, man. All those cranks slay. I put st-41's on my rebel craws and smack em down they killed it this weekend had an awesome experience for my first time ledge fishing caught a few over 3 pounds one over 4 and a couple smallies too. 1 Quote

Evan K Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Well the question still stands, but I also just got in my TW order. A bunch of square bills, a lot of Gamakatsu hooks (EWG, weighted swimbait hooks, trailer hooks, finesse hooks, etc.). Line for my new ultralight spinning rig and my new crankbait rig. A THKO wakebait, my most expensive bait purchase and one I'm really looking forward to trying out. And a free t-shirt, yay. Quote
jhc1 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I just posted this to a separate thread, but I'm pretty excited to get this reel in. As expected, first impressions are positive. 1 Quote

Brnnoser6983 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I can officially say my bait money is GONE! However.... Those of you may not know the bait money has a family. I now have a relative, and he goes by the name shooter. Shooter money (like his family) makes you compulsively by gun related items. Who would of thought... Quote
desmobob Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I just took advantage of a Kistler special and ordered three new KLX rods! I may have a couple of rods for sale in the near future (Kistler Carbon Steel and St. Croix Premier). Tight lines, Bob Quote

Evan K Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Nice haul. I need some swim bait hooks myself and that lure knocker will pay for itself many times over! Thanks. As a note I used the THKO wakebait today at lunch break. Only landed 2 fish, almost got a 3rd, but I love the action of the lure! Absolutely amazing swinging, walking motion. Quote
