Here is what became of the jigs I assembled pictured several posts above. Matching trailers for everyone. Hoping for a strong jig bite again this fall!

Mend-It is already paying off fixing some plastics, why the heck did I wait so long I'll never know.

Posted in an earlier post I bought some skirts and 24g cooper wire for when (not if) the Zman chatterbaits skirts come off (as well as other skirted baits I have).

9 crankbaits,  22 jigs, 10 bags of plastics, 5 hooks, 3 packs of tungsten worm weights, 4 drop shot weights, 2 buzz baits, 2 spinnerbaits, 4 spools of line, 2 plano boxes. On top of the custom baits/ jdm baits I bought this past week, this is one expensive tournament.

Good call on the d bombs and d stroyers, those things are bass magnets. What about that xt rod? What are your impressions of it?

Hey you're going to love the Grandebass Rattlesnakes; fish them weightless with a 4/0 EWG and twich them like a fluke. KILLER weightless presentation.

Just over the course of two months. Mostly garage sales, pawn shops, antique stores, and some from ebay and personal sellers. Bought them all to fish as Im not much on the collecting side of things.

Haha no denial here.

Ive got some from antique stores that are quite rare still in the package and sold them the next week. Never been into that whole collecting thing. I buy what I find and if they swim I will keep them and sell what ever ones don't. They are only worth as much to me as the fish they catch.

It really is tough driving by Academy on the way home from work every day. Stopped by there Friday, then the flea market on Saturday.

Flea market pick up. 3 Rogers Deep Jim(old style hook hangers), 3 Rattlin Chug Bugs, 1- Magnum pre-rap Wiggle Wart, and a pratically brand new Yellow Magic. Not bad for $15

GY senkos just took $100 from me again. We don't get much for $100. Mainly red senkos for now.

There are probably a few pictures

Keitech 3.8 inch fat impact

Keitech 4 inch swing impact

GY swim senko with a portion of the head/body cut down some

RI dipper and skinny dipper

The ribbed ones you are referring to are the Keitechs.

Nrx873c CRR. Rep sample

nrx853c used from the boards here

Nrx852s from the auction site

Saved about $500 if I bought them new. The casting rods looked hardly used. The rep sample still had the stickers etc. the cork is a little worm on the 852s but it's manageable.

Hopefully ordering reels this week. Already picked up a ci4+ stradic for the spinning Rod.

My wife says I have a problem. I call it a healthy hobby.

The bargain bin at Gander Mountain almost always produces. I may have to go back and get more of the Xcalibur squarebills, I really like the way they swam in the pool. $4.00 for each lure except $1.50 for the Bandit.

Just sold a few beef calves so I have a little extra spending money. Picked up a Pfleuger President (25 size) and a St. Croix Premier ultralight rod. I've wanted an ultralight setup for a while, I like fishing for panfish and playing bass on light tackle.

Also splurged and got a Lews Tournament MB baitcaster, the 5.6:1 high capacity spool version. Going to be my new crankbait reel. First time I'm branching out into more technique specific setups.

I have 2 lew's tournament Mbs. I absolutely love them both. I have the 6.8:1 and the 7.5:1. Awesome reel.

Yeah, my first serious venture into baitcasters was with a Lews LFS Speed Spool, and I couldn't be happier with it. I think Lew's has a dedicated customer in me already.
