KILLER weightless presentation. Quote
John M. Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Just over the course of two months. Mostly garage sales, pawn shops, antique stores, and some from ebay and personal sellers. Bought them all to fish as Im not much on the collecting side of things. 4 Quote

John M. Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Denial is always the first stage... Haha no denial here. Ive got some from antique stores that are quite rare still in the package and sold them the next week. Never been into that whole collecting thing. I buy what I find and if they swim I will keep them and sell what ever ones don't. They are only worth as much to me as the fish they catch. Quote
dcmclassic Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 It really is tough driving by Academy on the way home from work every day. Stopped by there Friday, then the flea market on Saturday. 20150917_165613 by Dustin, on Flickr Flea market pick up. 3 Rogers Deep Jim(old style hook hangers), 3 Rattlin Chug Bugs, 1- Magnum pre-rap Wiggle Wart, and a pratically brand new Yellow Magic. Not bad for $15 20150919_185714 by Dustin, on Flickr Quote

UKCATSBASSER Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Nrx873c CRR. Rep sample nrx853c used from the boards here Nrx852s from the auction site Saved about $500 if I bought them new. The casting rods looked hardly used. The rep sample still had the stickers etc. the cork is a little worm on the 852s but it's manageable. Hopefully ordering reels this week. Already picked up a ci4+ stradic for the spinning Rod. 2 Quote
dcmclassic Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 My wife says I have a problem. I call it a healthy hobby. The bargain bin at Gander Mountain almost always produces. I may have to go back and get more of the Xcalibur squarebills, I really like the way they swam in the pool. $4.00 for each lure except $1.50 for the Bandit. 20150921_144011 by Dustin, on Flickr 1 Quote
Evan K Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Just sold a few beef calves so I have a little extra spending money. Picked up a Pfleuger President (25 size) and a St. Croix Premier ultralight rod. I've wanted an ultralight setup for a while, I like fishing for panfish and playing bass on light tackle. Also splurged and got a Lews Tournament MB baitcaster, the 5.6:1 high capacity spool version. Going to be my new crankbait reel. First time I'm branching out into more technique specific setups. 2 Quote

Yeah, my first serious venture into baitcasters was with a Lews LFS Speed Spool, and I couldn't be happier with it. I think Lew's has a dedicated customer in me already. Quote
