Super User fishballer06 Posted July 6, 2015 Super User Posted July 6, 2015 Yeah 2015 Silverado. The 5.3 v8 pulls around 10k pounds. I looked at the Colorado and the interior is small for the price you pay, a little more gets a lot more truck.  I'm looking at trucks right now myself. The new Colorado's do look nice, but I don't see how they can charge just as much for a mid size truck as they do a full size truck. The 2014 leftover Silverado's are the same price as the 2015 Colorado's. Quote

But where it gets you is the accessories. LT, LTZ Z71, packages, and it goes on. A 36k truck can get up to 45 real quick. Quote

Super User kickerfish1 Posted July 7, 2015 Super User Posted July 7, 2015 Sounds good Senkolover. The rage bugs are the bees knees. One of my top creature baits. I may have to order a few more during the sale. They make great jig trailers too! 1 Quote

Dogmatic Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Do you have/use Mend-it? You fish plastic swimbaits, you need Mend-It. (I wish they sold it in gallon jugs.) Quote

thomas15 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I'm just getting started with plastic swimbaits. Haven't got any mend-it but will get some post haste. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted July 7, 2015 Super User Posted July 7, 2015 Sweet. What are you gonna use the *** for? (besides fish with it). Frogs/swimbaits?  Mostly plastics, with some frogs mixed in. I swim craws and worms a lot more than I fish swimbaits. I recently switched over to braid, so I wanted something a little heavier. Quote
boostr Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 17# Sufix Flouro (works great for jig fishing never a problem), 10 Greenfish jigs (Sorry Mike needed to fill out the 50 dollar min for free shipping... I wasn't cheating) Hey Mike, if you start selling 17lb + test flouro from Sufix, Berkley or some of the other quality lines, I will never have to go anywhere else... Just a thought. Quote
bradc36 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015  Yes, I have a problem, and I need help. This is a list of purchases from the last two weeks, without including a trip to gander mountain for wacky hooks, flippin hooks, senkos, and some booyah frogs that were buy one get one.  Go Pro Hero 3+ Rapsody Rods Casting 6'6 MHXF Hot Rod Casting 8'0 HMF Maestro Spinning 7'0 MF Hot Rod  Quote

Super User Senko lover Posted July 7, 2015 Super User Posted July 7, 2015 Yes, I've been trying to peg a frog fish for the last month......a lot of short stikes later, I just bought a jr frog, so hopefully I can start catching them. Quote
herruberraschen Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Got a deal on some Recon worms from Academy. Also got some Mustad Grip Pin hooks and wow have I been missing out. Small chance it's just a new toy thing but I don't see myself purchasing any other type of hook. Quote

I am curious about 13's MH rods, and am thinking about the MH Archangel...I wondering if it will be too much rod for a 1/4oz bullet weight plus plastic. Thanks. Quote

You would probably be better served with a medium especially with the archangel series blanks. It's certainly possible with a MH but don't think you'll feel the extra sensitivity your seeking with the MH. Quote

This is all speculation, as I don't think any of us have an Archangel yet. I can tell you that the 7'1" MHF *** Black is very comfortable with 1/4 oz tungsten + finesse worm. You could ask *** how the MH Archangel compares power-wise. I hope some information comes out soon; the only pictures of Archangels in the wild that I've seen have been from 13 pro staffers or testers. Quote

Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 8, 2015 Author Super User Posted July 8, 2015 My precious should be here within a week Awwwwww yeah!! I throw the little (115) ones quite a bit. They are a blast to fish and they get hit like crazy. Went for the flash carp but the nude blacks are so sick. Nice work man, have you seen the Butch Brown Bass pattern? So cool. Ugh. Lottery, y u no pick me again?!?? Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 8, 2015 Global Moderator Posted July 8, 2015 I have a 115 as well. I already have a flash carp, clear smelt, and clear ayu in the 175 already, but the nude black has been calling my name for awhile now. That bass pattern is nasty. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 Well the bait monkey bit me for several hollow body frogs. Booyah and Spro. Some flipping baits, 3 spools of braid, some extra fluoro, gulp mullet and shrimp, popping corks, and jig heads...  2 more days until HHI!!!!!! Quote
