(NetBait does have some great soft plastics) Yeah it does haha. My phone is a piece of crap at the moment and puts random words in . so there is a store called northwoods in Michigan. They sell knock of bandits for walleye trolling. They look very similar but, are called banditos haha 1 1 Quote

Super User NorcalBassin Posted April 18, 2023 Super User Posted April 18, 2023 Apologies for the terrible glare, but these x-zone finesse baits look great for drop shot or even neds. Also "needed" some more trailers and swammers. Really looking forward to tossing these yamatanukis under some docks. Reminds me of a solid pieced ika. 11 Quote

It excels with the Ned rig but I haven't found anything else yet that I like to fish, on regular basis, with it. Great rod though. Let us know what you think.? 1 Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted April 19, 2023 Super User Posted April 19, 2023 Some re-stocks and a few new baits I've been wanting to try. The Strike King Scounbug looks like it's gonna be a winner. Nothing earth-shattering but I really like the slender craw design. After hearing all the hype about Bassman spinnerbaits I figured I'd give them a shot. They don't seem like anything special out of the package, so hopefully they perform better than they look. I'm always tinkering with different Chatterbait trailers, even tho there's already enough great ones out there. But these Pro Point Machete Minnow's really intrigued me. I bet they're gonna look great in the water. 17 Quote

Of course I already eat everything as is, I am definitely convinced that fish will eat anything if you present it correctly. 2 1 Quote

I'll be shocked and heartbroken of those Machete Minnow's don't look as amazing as I'm hoping. And they're made of a pretty tough plastic (especially for having salt content). They seem like they'll really hold up well. 1 Quote

Well I did need more Paca Slims, line and wanted to replace a DT-10 that got bit off by a toothy critter. 6 Quote

Super User MN Fisher Posted April 20, 2023 Super User Posted April 20, 2023 Just a few things to add to my crappie arsenal - though they'll probably work for bass as well. 9 Quote

Nice. Have you gotten any of the 6th Sense Peco Minnows yet? Comes rigged with 4 replacement tails. And you can buy more tails for replacements or different colors. Here's a few of the nice colors they offer. 1.5". 8 Quote

Super User FishTank Posted April 21, 2023 Super User Posted April 21, 2023 Picked up a few things. Still waiting on Shimano to bring out the new Vanquish. It was supposed to be out in early March. I liked the Steez A II so much, I picked up the high speed version. I also found the color I have been hunting for in the Deps Slide Swimmer 175. The coolest thing is the Megabass jacket. It's fantastic. I would it put up against any of the stuff I have from Simms or Arcteryx but at a fraction of the cost. 13 Quote

Super User NorthernBasser Posted April 21, 2023 Super User Posted April 21, 2023 Thanks to @a1712 I placed my first order at AliExpress. Wish me luck! I used PayPal so I'm not worried. Both stores I bought from had really good reviews. Ended up getting another Tatula Elite and Curado 70 MGL. Paid $310 total (retail $500). Hard to beat that. But man, this could get dangerous. I spent the last 2 hours browsing handles, knobs, spools etc. They have the Tatula casting rods in split handle! Anybody ever order rods from AliExpress? 8 Quote

Check out the Ray's DIY Carbon Fiber Handles, I have them on 20+ reels. It's nice that you can select length, retainer, nut, retainer screw, and post colors, they also come in black or silver CF. <$30 SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR. Brian. 2 Quote
