Made a trip to Cabela's on Monday to get some hunting licenses.  I also needed to replace some skirts on my chatterbaits and spinnerbaits because the pike assault has been very destructive lately.

The bait monkey doesn't have the hold on me that he maybe used to, but I did do a small bit of shopping the other day that's just come in.

Never heard of that company before, but that mule minnow 3.2 sounds fantastic for a MiniMax trailer.

Check out “Fish Anything” on you tube. The guy is the owner of “mule jigs” and his content is pretty cool.

It's Ethan from Online Outdoorsman Fish Anything's little lure and jighead company. The Donkey Tail is my problem solver*, and I wanted to try the Jr. version for panfish. I haven't tried the minnow before, but I do a lot of fishing with short straight tail worms on the river, and thought it'd be a fun pickup.

Check 'em out.

*That specific lure, on a trip with @TnRiver46 during a white bass run is what put a boat in my driveway. SWMBO looked at me halfway through the trip and said "We should get a boat!"

Excellent gents, I will check him and these 3.2 models out.     Thanks for the info.

It's well packaged stuff, which we all know is critical to the Tackle Monkey...it has to catch the monkey before it can catch a Bass ?

Are those things any more durable than a standard skirt?  I have a feeling a skirt is going to get shredded by pike teeth regardless of the brand.

If you ever find yourself using a dropshot, the minnow would be a banger.

Mommy, make the Chatterbait monkey stop.....please mommy!!!!!!!!!!

The Keitech 4" are a big no go on MiniMaxs FWIW.     3" Paddletails work, but a swim tail is best I'm finding.

Anybody ever bother sending a single bait back to TW?   The CFL Football head model arrived with it's head chipped in 4 or 5 different places.    Not sure I want to go through the hassle for $5.

One other thing, finally got around to getting a few JackHammers and to my surprise just like every other Chatterbait branded product I've bought which is seemingly all of them.....Made in China appears on the back.    China can make quality stuff, but I want USA or Japan for the price these commanded.   Oh well, if they work 3x better than the other models I currently use, I'll keep buying them.

Odds are if you send them an email with a pic they'll just send you a replacement for free.

Paying full price for those things is a rip off.  Not long ago they were 20% off.

And with Black Friday sales coming up in just over a month...waiting is a good thing.

When you have a good day with that crankbait, you can say 'They just wore out my digle today' :)

HAHA, I've been trying to figure out how to pronounce it, and what it means since I bought it ?

Fish didn't want my Digle yesterday.....I'll never see this bait the same way again, thanks ?

Couldn't pass up 30% off some small topwaters, crankbaits, and wake/swimbaits.

I normally just pick up a few items as needed at a local tackle shore.  However, I succumb to peer pressure and ordered an assortment of bladed jigs and various trailers last week.   I haven't went down the bladed jig/chatterbait rabbit hole yet.   Hopefully I'll see what all the hype is about next week.

A few odds and ends lol, went in for a popper and maybe a weed less Willy. Ended up with more trick worms in colors I haven’t seen before, I have this strange compulsion to buy colors of trick worms that I don’t possess lol. A 3/4 oz spinner bait due to a recent thread on here and a 3/4oz thunder cricket due to another recent thread on here also. Doesn’t help that I started fishing the river more lately, need to combat current and keep it down deeper, also got not one but 2 weed less Willy’s, no clue how they will due but for $10 each I figured it is worth a try.

A diawa tatula lt jdm, and quite a few light game  toys. Will take some pictures once it arrives, i don't like to blow a ton on fishing equiptment; but I got 150$ dollars worth of tackle for 80$ and the reel was 130$ out the door, 210 total I'd pay 210 including tax on the reel alone so, I ain't complaining

I went in to look at certain color of worm and I come out with all of this lol. 2 packs of tubes some tube hooks that I wanted to try. 1 pack of grubs some jig heads for them and the pack of easy shiners lol. I go in with a idea and go from there, like I say you don’t know unless you throw lol.

Oooh I’m gonna have to try this same technique with the wife! We only have so many casts left this year, shoot it was snowing for us Monday morning.

I was in a crappy mood watching the Yankees tonight so I took a break and ended up on the TW website. Not too much damage, but bought a couple a Fire Tiger colored crankbaits, a Jack Hammer since I lost yet another one the other day, a Cavitron Buzzbait, and a Medium Light Falcon Lowrider spinning rod.

And yes, I know I posted a few months ago that I hate spinning gear. I still do, but sometimes it's a necessary evil. It also put me over the top for another free TW t-shirt ?
