Put in a small order with @Siebert Outdoors-2 compact tandem spinnerbaits, 4 packs on morel EWG heads 2-1\16oz &2-3\32oz and a SO decal. Figured I've ordered from the dude a ton over the past 3-4 years time to rock a decal and do some promoting for him!

Another mail call.  Picked up my first dark sleeper ( should have gotten the 1/2) and 3 tiny OG’s from fish USA.  On pay day I’ll buy some full sized OG’s.  Also, picked up a war eagle river rat spinner, should be good for this spring

Very small order but it’s an interesting one. This is for… wait for it…. Trout. Brook Trout in particular. They will gobble this size shad rap.

but they have the rear treble backwards IMO, I prefer the point facing up instead of down on the rear ones.

I'm very curious about what you're referencing here - can you expand a little? Maybe this is something I need to also be looking at

If an item you've been purchasing for years is still the same price it has been...I suggest stocking up.  The chompers rock walker jighead is still $5.49 a 4 pack, so I stocked up.  They have a collar/bait keeper so they can be used alone or skirted.  The dual wire weed guard is perfect, and I think looks like craw whiskers.

No problem. So when the lure is moving, the trebles won't just be hanging straight down, they will usually press up against the bait (or back away from it in the case of the rear treble). Because of this, you want your front/middle hook to be attached in the direction that you have the one shank pointing straight down when the hook is pressed against the bait. But for the rear hook, when it's pulled away from the lure you want that one hook pointing straight up, the reverse of the other two. This will give you better hookups in my experience with fish that just slap at the back of the bait.

Basically, Berkley had all three trebles facing the same direction, perfect for the first two but backwards for the rear one.

Side note, the way I'm holding the lure in the second picture makes my hand look super weird. ? The trebles wouldn't site quite right against the flat surface in the first pic but hanging down you can see how they should lay.

Alright, I probably drove the bid a little  much on eBay.  LC 78 sp’s . I’m not gonna say how much after shipping as it’s more than what I usually pay on these auctions.  I really wanted them though As these will be great for brown bass in the titabawassee, Saginaw or other rivers after it rains. I can’t find this color on the lucky craft site.  Probably the last jerk baits I’m buying for a while as I’m set.

probably start concentrating on plastics.  My wife really really dislikes me at the moment.  Soon she will be back in the office and won’t be home as the endless stream of boxes keeps coming in.  Haha

Shad raps kill!! For sure I could get a bonus bass throwing em. They are stocking a reservoir around here with trout this weekend, so I’ll be going there and throwing these. Really, I want the trout. But I can expect to catch anything.

Not tackle this time (my TW order has been "stuck" in Paris since Monday for some reason, thanks FedEx) but more like some oopsie insurance.

Had to get these from US Amazon (or, as you might know it, Amazon) because they don't have a European distributor, but it's exactly what I was looking for - especially when we fish from floating docks or rent a boat or canoe, or even on guided trips. Basically anytime I'm fishing somewhere if I dropped my phone only James Cameron could get it back.

6poundbass is on spring break this week so the Mrs. and I decided to take him, our nephew, and the Baitmonkey to Cabelas. The upgrade continues and I grabbed a Stunna 112 and 112+1 since they’re all the rage right now.

A wise investment. I have found two iPhones when the lake water level was down. I’d love to know the stories behind them.

A few more things

2 packs airtail wigglers

1 pack shadalicious swimbaits

1 Berkley stunna

1 x rap

3 Duckett spinnerbaits

1 pulsator spinnerbait

1 pack black cherry keitechs

I am interested to see how well the Duckett spinnerbaits do, they have a fairly short arm.

Received a couple of small orders I made last week

rsz_img_5687.thumb.jpg.8c8cbf5e153fab891295b0808ea6359b.jpg

A couple of S-Waver 120s (Terminator, Party Crasher), 3 regular Onetens (Clear Laker, FA Gill, Spawn Killer), 1 Oneten R+1 (Clear Laker), and a Shadow Rap. And more Bass Patrol jigs because why not ?

These are my first Onetens, and my first S-Wavers for that matter. Can't wait to try this stuff out.
