Let's hope the new state record Brown Bass feels the same way.

Great shells, I’ve been a huge fan of the 3” 6s for years. Farthest I’ve shot with it was 48 yards and it did it’s job well! I try to keep them 40 and under but misjudged a field bird.

The first two seasons I used Longbeard XR, I shot turkeys at 50 and 61 yards. Stuff is a game changer compared to traditional ammo. I use the 3.5 inch loads.

I'm not trying to be a wise guy either, but I thought bass just see the bottom of your topwater plug.

Bass can see above the surface of the water too. My cousins boyfriend had one in a pool, it would follow people around waiting to be fed

I know I'm looking forward to the video of those footballs on topwater and I doubt I'm the only one!

Well I can only break it in if the fish cooperate. ?

They've been hitting topwater pretty good lately so I'm hopeful.

Also, these new B models feel a lot stiffer than the previous ones.

If you're fishing gin clear water, and the surface is calm, a bass can see the sides of the bait if they're coming at it from an angle and not straight up. A lot of times in clear water  they'll actually trail the bait, inspecting it before they commit.

Well I ordered A-Jay's PopMax. Now when it gets here do I put it on the mantel and admire it or do I fish it? ?

Reaction Innovations has some of the most...interesting color names.

White Trash, Donkey Punch, Honey Doo Doo, Infection, Tramp Stamp, Spring Break, Taco Truck, Penetration, Soft Pappi, Low Blow, Main Vein, Coonasty, Dirty Sanchez. I have a feeling a group of frat boys are running the show over there. :lol1:

Shout out to Aberdeen Bait and Tackle, a local store around NC. If you are anywhere close, it’s worth a trip over there. Be prepared to spend more than you thought you would. Anyways, figured I’d make a trip over there and see if anything looked good while I’m in town. Picked up a couple packs of z hogs in my favorite color, California 420, and some packs of brush hogs that I know you can’t find on Tackle Warehouse, except one. Their collection of zoom baits is pretty amazing there.

I have Loon color in every Whopper Plopper size, except for the 130. So I decided I'd order one. Went to TW and saw that had a TW exclusive Matte Black color, so went with that instead.

@NorthernBasser wow, that almost looks like a super obscure JDM bait. In a good way!

Yeah, I'll admit the looks got me. :lol1: It'll look even better with teeth marks on it. ;)

Throw anything real heavy on that yet? like 2.5-3oz?
