I can't believe how expensive fishing stuff is, $38 dollars for 5 things.  My mom was shopping with me, so I didn't spend as much as I usually would...  She saved me from that stinkin monkey.134598371_IMG_1943(1).thumb.jpg.3779bd4e7174d4a3f5219bb8c4f4cf8b.jpg

I think that's BPS in general. A pack of Senkos was like $9 last time I was there. Your money will go a lot further other places.

I went to BPS this week (last day of spring classic) to take advantage of the rod & reel trade in plus I had a gift card from Christmas. I thought some of the prices and even sale prices seemed a little high but then I checked Dicks sporting goods website and noticed their spring sale prices are also pretty high compared to past 2-3 years. I’ll purchase my lure/ terminal tackle products at one of my local tackle shops instead.

Needed grease for annual baitcaster servicing and had a $25 gift card which of course means you have to spend $75 to get free shipping.  Think it is the 14th tackle delivery since Nov...and ice out was a whopping 2 days ago.

I know I can find everything I need at BPS/Cabelas, and I don't have to hunt around for it.  I live so close to Cabelas it just makes sense to go there.  I don't do a lot of online shopping either.

Also, got my first JackHammer, in green pumpkin shad!!!  Shipped from amazon but the package was from discount tackle.

I went a little overboard today!  Bought two Cashion ICON rods and Shimano SLX reel and some tackle!  That one hurt when swiping the card!  ?

The really good purchases tend to sting a little!

No wonder they are always sold out.  What is the name of your eBay store?  ? ? ?

The Blue Craw color is a big producer for me. Yeah, just checked their site and it looks like they are on vacation, glad I got my order in. They should be back up in a week or two.

UPS brought me a new box full of stuff to get snagged and lose.

The megastrike (as seen on TV) is gonna be a new experience, but I know I can't go wrong with a product endorsed by the creator of the helicopter lure.

Awesome! Hopefully they work as well for you as they do me! I need to call Snack Daddy and ask when the ProTube line will be back in production.

Well I sure didn't "need" it, but I couldn't pass up on a used once Tatula 300 for almost $100 off ?‍♂️

This was my second days haul from the Ollie's fishing blowout! First day I only bought about half as much stuff. I cleaned out the Lucky Craft and put a hurting on the Berkley.

Stopped at Dick Smith’s in Milwaukee for the first time and was impressed. Had a very good selection of bass tackle and the prices were decent enough. Got to hold a St Croix Victory and was really impressed. Unfortunately all the actions out right now I already have solid rods in the lineup. Once they release a medium action moderate rod I am all over it!

The big bite smallie smashers are a bait I have passed up on TW orders for a couple of years and decided to give them a try on a Ned rig. Similar to, but a little wider, than the MB bomb shot that has been a good Ned bait for me.  Likewise this year I had passed on the new plopper, but once I saw it I realized it would be perfect for my smaller river system. Then a couple of Musky baits and my wife picked out the jitterbug. Next time we are in Milwaukee I would definitely stop there again.
