I love round reels and thought about getting one but wasn't sure about the size compared to my other reels. I like smaller reels. It definitely doesn't palm like a low profile, but it is comfortable. It doesn't sit as low as something like a Calcutta, but at the same time not as high as an Ambassadeur. It's somewhere in between. The reel frame itself is a 100 size, but Daiwa added spacers and changed a few other things to let it use the 70 spool. Quote

If the CT is the same size as the other 100 sized Millionaires, it's pretty small and very palm-able. I have a Ringa SSS and size-wise it's taller than an TD Zillion/SV103, but feels smaller in hand. It's a wonderful comfortable reel and I have liked it on every rod/reel seat I have stuck it on. Quote

Super User Boomstick Posted December 5, 2020 Super User Posted December 5, 2020 Alright, prepare to be impressed lol.... most of this is for my kids, getting them the start of their own tackle collection for X-Mas. I'm honestly overwhelmed sorting this stuff out figuring out who is supposed to get what. 7 Quote

Why not turn it into a grab-bag. Let each one pick what they want so long as they don't take all of one thing. 1 1 Quote
