Just placed a $78 order. All soft plastics. I'm trying out some varieties of floating worm I haven't used before, plus the usual stuff that's on sale and a bag of Z Man Fattyz to replace the ones I've lost recently. I can't find the blue/black ones in stock anywhere around here.

Man, I love those Airtail Wigglers. They move enough on their own that there's no reason to do anything but deadstick.

Got that summer top water covered. Couple of Ima little stik's for smallies and a big stik for those stripers. Some dark sleepers for deep bass and 3/4oz hard knockers for stripers again.

I realized my deep crank game was pretty weak this past week.  I have about 100 cranks for fishing 0-12 feet and then a handful to go beyond that.  I lost 2 of them to some snags so needed a few more.  It isnt a technique that happens all too often for me though...

Also got some hooks to replace all the ones my friend lost to snags.  Lol

My first froggin’ combo! The pitch switch looks interesting on the XH Lew’s Super Duty LFS. Can’t wait to get some 65# braid and get to work!

What is the switch for?

Good question.  When set in the “on” position, the reel is already engaged immediately during the cast. In other words, it saves the quick step of cranking the handle to engage the reel.

Whether I use it or not, kind of a cool feature if I use it for pitching and get bites as soon as it hits the water .... which only really happen in my dreams, personally haha

I hit my local DSG/F&S with a shopping list and the same items and prices from TW saved in windows on my phone. I asked and they priced matched which was cool and I didn't have to wait an eternity for the stuff to arrive. Saved 8$ on the Gantarel and a little bit less on the rest. If you're like me and dig the Beast coast Miyagi Swimmer the Death Wish 5" is nearly it's clone and offers some different colors. The Fishlab 3/4 oz Rattling frog is a true 23 grams, so it can be chucked a mile. We'll see about the hookup ratio. The plastic is kind of stiff.

Congrats. Supply chains get disrupted, but the love of the game doesn’t change.

Have that same rod for frogs and have to say I've been pleasantly surprised.

Got my Daiwa Tatula 100 today and paired it with an Abu Garcia Vengeance 6’9” MH for a shaky head setup. I wanted a 7’ MHF rod, but can’t find them anywhere.

I drop shot them. They seem to work better than other worms texas rigged on a straight shank finesse hook. Problem is their durability is nonexistent. Had to stock up when they're almost half off.

Got my first order from Outlet Bait and Tackle and was very impressed. Ordered late afternoon on Tuesday and it arrived on Saturday.

Stocked up on 1/4 ounce War Eagle spinnerbaits.
