Finally got myself the g2 shellcracker I’ve been looking for.

I got myself a pretty toy recently - Daiwa T3.

 

I've got a custom spool ordered for it, it is going on my finesse baitcasting rod which I built myself.

Nice! Curious what spool you're throwing in? That stock 1016 spool is one of the best all around spools made.

Just getting into the big bait game and here is the haul from the past month. I got lucky on the Bucca glide and WCZ battle shad drops and was able to score. They both sold out within minutes. Now I just need to get out and fish them.

Throw in a S-Waver and a Ganteral Jr and you'll really have all bases covered, but if you're already refreshing the page every 10 seconds on SU during a bait drop....LOL!

I've had a 168 S-waver in lite trout on order for months, but still on backorder. I'm about to give up on that one, haha.

I've got a Ray's studio spool ordered, it's going to be used to throw light lures All the way from trout spinners on the lower end to need rigs on the higher end.

I had the exact same thing back ordered through both tackle warehouse and bass pro and they both emailed me saying that there is no promise restock anymore and that the orders have been cancelled. That was after waiting 5 weeks lol. But this was a couple months ago now.

With the sweat dried to my forehead and the smell of fish still lively on my hands from a fun morning topwater bite I staggered into the local fix shop and bought more stuff I didn't need... GAVACHO!!!

 

ps. Caught first Spro rat bass today-lots of funs!!!

I bought several packs of 5” Senkos in green pumpkin with black flake and watermelon with red and green flake for $5.99/pk. 

 

But...my Father’s Day gift from my wife was given to me today a bit early. It beats the 45 year-old Flambeau I’ve been using!

I picked that one up on sale a couple of months ago.... very satisfied with it. Well made and nicely appointed.

Another item came in the mail - a new reel handle for the old Shimano Citica E - the old handle bent a good two years ago and I just avoided using the reel instead of buying a new handle. I think it looks pretty good myself.. maybe need to shop around for a matching nut and retainer though... ?
