Picked up a Falcon Expert Amistad to try. I love the Cara and have heard nothing but great things about the expert. Hopefully it’ll arrive before the weekend

Also recently purchased a Quantum Icon PT for $42 on EBay to use throwing chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. I’ve always had good luck with the PT reels and the ACS system casts heavier lures really well. So far it’s performed exactly how I expected. Very sold reel with aluminum frame and supported pinion for less than $50.

Awesome!  If you think of it after you use them let me know what you think!

I haven’t got anything with them yet probably will bring them out in the fall or next spring but I did get a chance to throw one around a bit and was able to see the action of the bait. The bait hunts and you really don’t see that much in a square bill it runs true but it hunts well I don’t think I’ve actually ever seen anything similar in a Shallow running square bill. Extremely buoyant fast deflection and fast rising. I really like the bait and definitely will get the rest of the colors. I’m a believer in the baits that’s for sure!

Thank you very much!  Gonna be awhile before I buy any, bought a new trolling motor and recess tray last night for the boat.  So the boss at home is gonna be a little hard to convince I need any baits for a while!  haha

Did well with the rat the other day. So I figured I’d get a spare and a couple others. I guess this means I have six now lol.

@Saavedra9 this is the place where we share our problem...I mean obsession...or maybe habit? of buying tackle.  Apparently there are a lot of monkeys on the loose...

@JediAmoebathanks

Soo I'm not someone to usually buy my fishing tackle online because I prefer to see the lures in person but decided to take a risk since haven't had the time to go to my local Academy..... I've heard about and read about alot of sites to buy my lures online. Like Academy, walmart, tackle warehouse, bass pro shops and a few othere. So I decided trying cabelas. It was a risk but figured what the heck. Placed my order and it arrived quicker than i was expecting even with this covid virus going on. Total was about 5 days to arrive. I'm very happy with how fast i got my package and how big the selection of tackle was with them. They got me as a customer. Any other websites y'all recommend?

Attached below is my first purchase

1. Yum 7.5 inch Ribbontail Worm Blk/Blu FLK 12 pck

2. Yum TipToad in White 5pck(excited to try these)

3.Mister Twister curly tail grub in White pearl got the wrong size got 3 inch meeny instead of 4 inch but whoops my bad.

4. Mister Twister Sassy Shad 3 inch White pearl/ Black back

What y'all think?

1. Classic option

2. I think you'll like these.  Rig them on a 4/0 or maybe 5/0 EWG hook.  Can be a belly weighted one but I don't use those for buzz toads.

3. Another classic option, although I'd fish these for walleye or stream smallmouths

4. Another oldie but goody, these should catch any species aside from small panfish.

Weather isn't great today but got a chance to hit the bank and catch some on one of the 6th Sense Hybrid Swim Cranks that arrived yesterday.

Got to love the 50e Curado.  I have a 51e Chronarch.  Those 50 size reels are something special.

From what I've read from Harry David, that boy liked to grow and eat green beans. I'm with you, bet he never even had a nice rod n reel

I loved my Daiwa Coastal TWS that I got a few weeks ago so much that I decided to give the Coastal SV a try next. Something tells me I’m going to like this one just as much. This is replacing a Curado 200i that I have been looking forward to getting rid of.

Been a while since I've added a new light reel to the collection, but flash sales means, hello.
