Glad to see XZone is getting some traction. They have a really good lineup and the action on those Swammers is insane!

Liking what I’m seeing so far!

Got my new Sedona to replace the one I broke. Already regretting it and punching myself for not upgrading. It was on sale though, so no worries ?

Also, does anyone have experience with yo-zuri braid and fluorocarbon? Thoughts? I picked some up because of the reduced price. Just gonna use the fluoro as leader for. They feel good in the hands but I know that means nothing.

If I remember correctly they went out of business a few years back and someone else bought them and brought them back. I know a guy that was sponsored by them and now throws Anglers Choice bait, another good Canadian soft bait company.

Xzone was sold to an American company a couple of years ago. Same with Freedom Tackle, the owner's brother owns Set The Hook plastics which I see in ma n pa shops alot but I've never tried them out due to personal preferences.

Anglers choice is pretty decent too. I like their Killshot but the other baits are pretty lackluster.

The only thing I heard about their baits was that the durability isn’t great. Their dropshot Drifter looks ok but after 1 fish it gets trashed. That’s what I’ve been told at least.

sounds like a keitech swimbait. they have a pretty good reputation regardless of the durability ?‍♂️

They were bought by VRX fishing products, same company that makes the rod glove. I think they are based out of Ontario.

I really like the original wart hawg as a ned bait. skinnier than other stick baits commonly thrown on a Ned head. That is the only way I have ever fished the Wart Hawg.

Well, I found the rod to wear the first of the Origin C's.

Found a heck of a steal.   TATULA 7'1 Heavy.  I'm pretty excited.  I've already got a pretty full line up, but it will find it's way in as a jig rod and frogs and heavy topwaters and such.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 6'3 Tatula just for skipping and pin point casts with lighter lures.  I have an old pixy that would look good on it.

If its still on sale in a couple weeks I'm probably going to give it a new home.

Fishing wasn't terrific today, but the mail call when I got home was pretty great.

Where do you get your swimbaits from? Is there a decent online store or do you do auction sites.

I've caught a decent amount of bass already this year on that exact same 110+1.

Mostly from individuals who are selling their baits on FB pages. I got both those baits for under retail from the same guy. Been wanting s white 7" Slammer forever and he offered to toss the 4x4 in for a good price, so there it is.

Not a huge MB fan, but nobody else has a deeper running jerkbait that I can fish very effectively. Done pretty well on sexy French pearl 110+1, but I needed a white one.

Picked this up from a local guy. Just about 2-1/2 ounces. Made out of wood. His craftsmanship is fantastic.

That's sweet derek.  Hope it catches fish

Me to, this is one from his first batch of this kind. For being a kind of expensive bait. It’s not nearly enough for the time put  in to make them.

I never could get too much in to BIG swim baits.  It gets expensive quick... but they are home run hitters.

That looks like a quality bait - it's like an extra jointed version of the Shellcracker. Is that tail made of soft plastic? or rubber?

Yeah, the tail is soft plastic. He makes replacements.

The only takeout food we'll order in the age of corona is Italian dinners that are cooked in a tin at 500 degrees F. No cooties! One baked ravioli, one baked eggplant parm, and an order of baked clams runs us $43 at our favorite spot, so that's what I bid on this reel last week. Hey, if I can get a decent reel for the cost of takeout for 2 why not?  Plus I'm on a Quantum buzz since I grabbed a Tour S3 that I'm very happy with. I won this Icon PT for $39.99 + 8.95 usps blue shipping from Simmons which is an authorized Quantum dealer, so a safe bet. If the rain stops I'll get to fish with it today. Solid tank of a reel at 8 oz. It looks to be the exact frame and sideplates as the Vapor PT. Comfy in the palm. It spins nicely. It clicks nicely. ACS Centrifugal braking. We'll see how it goes.

Spraying boxes - haven't heard of such things... and we still order Chinese once a week.  ?‍♂️

Anyway, I wanted to check out this red bite and realized I didnt have anything.  Headed on down to wacky worm and fixed that problem.

Also got some blue keitechs to pair with the bladed jigs I got from C&C custom baits!
