Hi Michael. Let me tell you a little about myself.

A while back, somebody here mentioned that Tackle Warehouse had the Jackall Archelon on sale as 'close-out' pricing, and they were wondering if they're gonna stop carrying/selling them. Or if Jackall was gonna stop making them.

Now, I already have about 30 packs of them in my boat which will last me quite awhile. But since it's one of my favorite baits, I panicked and raced over to TW and ordered 20 more packs.

Now I have 50 packs of Jackall Archelon's, and as it turns out, they aren't being discontinued afterall.

This is one of many stories you'll hear if you hang around us crazies long enough.

Sorry about that buddy!  lmao?

I heard someone mention a sale on fishing items at Ollies and didn't think much of it because I didn't think we had one near me, but while out today I spotted one and couldn't help but to check it out and they had some good deals on some stuff. They had huge box full of hundreds of Chatterbaits in just about every color, all in 3/8 oz though for $3.99 and a bunch of plastics. I could of went crazy, but I just picked out some colors I didn't have.

Have you ever tried that line before? I haven't but it was worth a shot at the price.

I use their fluoro and it's been good to me.

Hi, Michael! That's my name too! Admitting the problem is the first step. And maybe the last? I mean what's the next step? Is this a one-step program?

I've been on the wagon for three days now.

Sunday I slipped up while I was at Walmart buying a picture frame. My Bait Monkey is cheap, so I only got hit for a $2 degorger. It was just sitting there and I didn't have one.

I looked for other stuff but was able to walk away - I mean it's not the greatest fishing Walmart - the selection is small. Lost my red crank though so I'll be back for a replacement(s).

My stories are boring because I'm cheap.

Oh I should have bought one for my E.F.K. (Emergency Fishing Kit) I stash in my truck too (which is now complete!). Forgot about that! Telescopic rod, Trion reel, and a bunch of other goodies in a cheap backpack.

You guys all should have an EFK...

In the trunk of my car I have a small back pack...also have a 7' telescopic spinning rod and a 7' telescoping baitcaster.  My EFK is strong.

I "accidentally" stumbled on a TacticalBassin video on jerkbaits and decided I needed a better jerkbait collection, including a rod.

Matt & Tim are the bait monkey's chief agents. You gotta be careful watching their stuff.

Had to get my skates sharpened for the weekend and ended up in the same shopping area as my local Cabela's. I did what I could to resist but the monkey crawled out from my kid's booster seat and before I knew it:

Z-man Ticklerz - The Deal & Sprayed Grass

Zman/Freedom Chatterbaits in 3/8oz & 1/2oz - Green Pumpkin

Trokar Flipping Hooks (to complete the A-Jay rig)

Who knew the bait monkey liked fishing line too?......  Got my line for the rest of the year.

The one that has my attention is the Runcl line.  It, surprisingly, looks like it will be good line.  I have tried breaking it by hand and it's really tuff but at same time, it's soft.  We will see what happens this weekend. It's supposed to be nice.... Can't wait.

2020 will be the first season I try to find out if the north woods brown bass feed on the occasional genus Rattus

Cool, I bet you get a few. The 30 size seems to want dive a bit at anything above a painfully slow retrieve. Just a heads up. Allot of fun though.

On a side note you can crank it down a bit.

Should be good on stick baits for a while.

Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnows finally all arrived. Half from Walmart and half from Amazon, but all were just over $3 each, normally around $10. Only one got canceled. The 3D Prizm ones are really nice. I posted both sales in the latest sale thread last week.

They catch bass for sure.  My buddy and I caught several on the 30 size last summer.  We were fishing them in sparse pads.
