Don't tell anyone, but yesterday I stopped in at ProTech Fishing in Toano, Virginia and picked up three Frittside crankbaits.

I am hush.  I spent almost 1000 dollars in the past week.  I thought I was pretty good for the year...I didn't think I really needed anything.  I THOUGHT I left the monkey locked up in the garage.

As soon as I get the last reel (coming tomorrow) I will post a pic.  Or, pics.  Sigh

I needed a Hawg Trough and also got my first Jack Hammer to help fill the order for free shipping.

Ok, so I got the final reel today - the updated Lexa HD 300 in a 6.3:1 ratio for swimbaiting.  I was really looking forward to this overdue update!  Anyway, I am still trying to figure out how I blew my budget away for the next few months in a week... lol.

I am excited to use the Tatula 150p, a 5.5:1 ratio crankbait reel.

Please do.

See Lin or Daniel. Lin owns the shop and he has some fantastic stories. Ask him to do a G-Man impression.

Daniel is a great guy, too.

Small shop in Toano but outstanding items from Japan that you can't get anywhere else.

Have fun and bring money!

@JediAmoeba
That's a beauty haul MFer haha, I'm interested in how that milliken fishing rod performs. He's a good dude but his click bait titles are brutal. He's either quitting YT or fishing or YT is deleting his account. ??‍♂️

I know I was bound and determined to become a lurker on the site, just looking for the sales only and of course watching this thread.

But I owe a huge thank you to @ABart61 for pointing out the xcalibur XC 200 square bill is back. I was down to like 3 and was honestly a bit afraid to fish them because the lure fishes so big, aggressive action punches a big hole in the water, that big musky and pike love them too. This was/is one of my special cranks.

I now have some back stock and will likely add more on Black Friday.

After meeting with Dan and the staff over at Headwaters Kayak in Lodi and demo’ing a few kayaks me and the wife ended up with a good deal and got 2 new Slayer Propel 10’s. Living in San Francisco it was just ideal for ease of transport and storage.

Starting the reel maintenance and I found out why my 'cheap' BC was so cheap. One of the gears lost a couple teeth and the plastic piece that's part of the mechanism to return the thumb-bar to lock position was cracked, so that wasn't working.

Browsed Amazon and found a President XT for $47 - ordered and it's on it's way.

Monkey got me for a few Vision 110s from Kittery.  One is still back ordered.

I grabbed one of these, too. My old BPS Extremes were discontinued years ago, and I believe that Pfleuger made those, so I thought that the XT was worth a try, especially for the price.

Considering I already have a President in my arsenal that I used extensively last season...it's not 'worth a try' for me, but 'worth the price'.

I guess you were at Walmart.

I bought similar jigs a week ago there.

Pretty good deal at $2.50 each.

Wish they had more colors to choose from.

Yessir! Too good of a deal to pass up. Guess I've bought half a dozen so far during the winter and several weeks ago I managed to get one wet. That Rage Menace trailer looks amazing coming through the water.

I am only seeing 3 colors here. I took notice of the Luck E Strike bladed jig and spinnerbaits carried there too. I would like to hear from anyone that has used them and what their opinion is. My only connection to the company is the RC jerkbait and some of their cranks.

I bought a Johnny Morris Signature Series combo at Bass Pro. 320 dollars but got a 145 off with my daughters discount. Hard to pass up. May get another one because she’s quitting that job soon and no more discounts.

I would do the smart thing and forbid her from quiting, if she still insists on quiting, then you have no other choice than to disown her!  ?

Went to Bass Pro last night to look at depth finders for the new yaks. Ended up with a Helix 7. Got the Spring Classic sale of $400 OTD so the spring classic sale prices might be already uploaded into their system.
