I have no idea if they send an e-mail or not. I'm still waiting on my Choppo-90 in Bone...and the site says "Dec 29" for back in stock. Probably a delay from the supplier is causing the wait.

I typically get an email saying the backordered item(s) shipped.

I am waiting to get my Plano Edge Jig box, and can't wait to organize it lol (different problem than bait monkey)

Does TW send an email saying the back order shipped or does it just show up? Their website still says the box arrives in stock Jan 11th lol.

You’ll usually get an email as @Tizi mentioned. Sometimes the expected stock date isn’t met, which further pushes back the shipping date.

Realistically my season doesn’t start till May, but organizing tackle in the offseason minimizes my fishing withdrawal. Still amazes me that a pricey box is in that high of demand. Being mostly a budget angler I cringe at the high demand on high end gear and what ultimately happens to prices on some mid range gear, it sadly goes up a lot too.

How long have you been waiting? My order was December 31st so not long for me.

Since early December,  I typically wouldn't care either but I have a bunch of new jigs and chatterbaits to put away

Thanks for the heads up @fishballer06, things should go a lot smoother now. (fluid bed for powder coating jigs)

Excellent choice. Don't be afraid to experiment with the level of air flow from the aerator. When I first used mine, I had it really flowing at basically fully open and I wasn't getting the best results. I've got mine barely flowing now so its just barely fluffing up that powder and it's working really well.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, you know I'd been looking around and even went to Lowes, but I soon realize that I couldn't build one for what this one cost. Thanks again my friend.

Got some plastics for jig trailers and some misc hardware.

Strike King Baby Rage craw in pearl and the Half Shell in sexy shad. I'm really curious how a white craw shape performs.

Then some small stuff. Karl's Dub Grub in Pearl and Chartreuse Pepper. The Catch Co Quiver Tail in Albino rounds out the plastic.

Hardware was a mix. Some small neon jig heads for trout, some split shot, then some smaller fine wire hooks for trout rigs with the smaller plastics or even live worms.

I also picked up a Curado K and am getting the rod for it this afternoon. I THINK that is it for a while, I'd like to get some of this stuff wet before I buy more.

Got my Curve 55s in colors I didn’t have and wanted to try.  And a Megabass Dyna Response blade bait.  Can’t wait to try it on the Columbia for smallies.

If it were a spinning rod I would be on that deal. Currently looking at another Daiwa Tatula sv tw or another Curado K.

I need one more reel and than I’m done buying rods for the year.  Went to bps in Great Lakes crossing.  It wasn’t a awe inspiring trip.  Wanted a bass mojo heavy rod for flipping.  They didn’t have any in heavy so I bought the bass-x in stead.  Took. Took a bunch of money In case A higher end rod jumped and said buy me.  The ones they had didn’t do it for me so I spent the rest on tackle.  This one Makes 3 in a month; the carbon light combo, falcon clearance rod, and this st.croix.  The next rod will be a medium spinnin out fit.

time for money to be spent on the boat to get her ready for spring

Bait monkey has been off my back for a long time but he recently saw the Stradic C5000XG on closeout with only one left in stock so, yeah, you know the rest. I've used my original one for schoolie stripers in Maine/NH salt water rivers for 2 seasons and love it.

Two Chasebaits Mudbugs crawled into the cart (these are new for me), plus a bag of Yum 4-inch Swim'n Dingers in watermelon / pearl 2-tone. Last season these Yums have been my go-to on a ML/F spinning setup on the lake, rigged on a small jig head, and late last season even better as a trailer on a finesse skirted swim jig.

Thank you, bait monkey. Now get off my back already ;)
