Latest purchases from an online website

(these are amazing swimbaits, but they're kind of expensive)

OSP Dolive Shad 3.5 inch, my favorite swimbait

It is renowned for being a bass killer back in Hong Kong and the demand for them is massive.
They are about 10 USD a pack on most websites

Love to hear what you think of the Scorpion. I went with an MGXtreme to go light, instead of the Scorpion recently. But I have a heavier rod that it would still pair nicely with.

I took it out yesterday and fished for about 5 hours. I used it the majority of the time. Mostly throwing a texas rigged soft plastic with a 3/16 oz weight. I love it, but I wasn't surprised. It's very smooth and pals incredibly well.

Forgive my ignorance but what is that for?

That is tying thread for tying flies.  I believe he is using it for tying jigs.

I thought you’d say something like that. I expect to get one sometime down the road. That’ll be for heavier applications for me. When I have the time to get out more, that’s on my list. Been updating things around the house this fall, since I haven’t had the time to put into fishing recently and some of the things around here (not just me) are starting to get old.

Birthday money! The actual date isn't until next month, but the parents gave me some cash early. So since my old 3600-size Advanced Angler bag was getting a little tight, and I have a wishlist on TW a mile long...got a BPS Extreme Qualifier 3700-size in Camo with 4-3700 and 1-3750 boxes. Now I got room to for what I've wish-listed and a bit more to expand.

The Advanced Angler bag is going to be my new Plastics bag - 6-3600 size boxes in the main compartment, 1-3600 size in the front pocket plus the room in the side pockets. More storage than the Plano Weekender that WAS my plastics bag...it only held 4-3600 boxes then loose stuff in the pockets.

Yes, I've already done the sorting - the AA bag will fill when I do my TW and FishUSA orders after I get my Yule present (usually a grand in a check).

This will be my 4th if you include the Tournament MG. They go great with my 2 BB1s, 1 LFS, 1 Heavy Duty, and 2 Mach II Spinners. Yeah, I'm a Lew's reel Fan Boi!

Yes sir! Hard to tell from the picture, what all did you get?

Here’s a better pic. If you zoom in a little you can read the labels. I don’t know much about all the different ones. Mike was nice enough to throw together a nice sample pack for me to try out.

My tiny little pea brain cannot for the life of me, figure out how to whip finish. I have one, but it sits largely unused in a box in my garage.

A couple baits I'm excited about from my TW order this week. Left out my new Duo jerkbait, maybe on purpose ?

Well, I'm going to set my vise up in front of the lap top and follow along with @smalljaw67 on YT and learn how to do it. I've always wanted to use thread instead of wire on my jigs and also I want to dress my own trebles. I'm going to master the whip finish come hell or high water.

I've also watched this video a few times.

Went to the local tackle shop today, stocked up on some stuff that I have been wanting.  Got a variety of Berkley crankbaits to try out next spring, stocked up on Molix flipping jigs, and some chatterbaits.

Not exactly Wal mart sale prices but stopped at a Gander Outdoors that was closing. 50 percent off lowest tag fishing and 70 precent off lowest tag marine.

Got a backup Yak life vest for 21. All the BioSpawn baits and lure dye were 3 a piece. Suffix 832 was 5.40 a spool. Cordell baits were 2.40 for and 3.25 for 2. Structure bugs were 2.75. Could have gone really crazy but budget and all that lol. Bummed they didn’t have any Menace grubs, but more than happy with what we found. The D bombs were under 2 for the bag.
